Hey All,
Gamer for 25+ years. PVP Shooters since BF1942 on PC.
More currently still on the BF Series but now on PS4, and Destiny player since D1.
Newer to the Battle Royal, didn't get into PUBG and very little Fortnite experience BUT watch my kids play for hours on end. Sometimes simply for the entertainment of it. (I know enough watching what I see). I'm a bit of 1st Person purist to not really enjoy 3rd person for shooters. Makes the gunplay feel less authentic.
Overall I like the game and it has a ton of potential.
Some observations:
That's about it for now. Ton of potential here and it's fun despite some of the frustrations I had with some of my observations.

TTK is fine as is. Shorten it and you will furter reward shotguns and high damaging weapons which will reward camping. You can already drop people (even if they have purple/gold shields) incredibly quickly with headshots or you can use grenades to soften them up or ambush people.
Meleeing is fine, I use it a ton and I'v yet to miss a punch. You can slide into a melee attack for extra distance coverage. We also don't want increased damage because it would then transform CQC into a punching fest and weapons like pistols would be underpowered.
For weapons RNG, it's normal that some weapons are worse but also more common. I actually really enjoy how it is set currently, I extremely rarely did not find a weapon from the get go. Though I would agree some SMGs need a buff as they are overshadowed by shotguns.
You can already swap parts around by holding down TAB and then drag'n'dropping stuff around.

Hi and thanks for the reply.
TTK is not 'ideal' and there is going to be a constant flow of complaints about it. I was hitting my headshots just fine and not dropping people.
Then they need a better method of switching or throwing grenades. D-Pad is very combersome to use to switch. Equipped grenade slot shoud just be a button throw.

Again perspective. Melee hits are inconsistent. Notice I said 'unshielded' should 2HK. When you drop in the same zone it shouldno't take 4 Melees to defeat someone.
" I'v yet to miss a punch". I also doubt that but it's your perepective.

Happened enough for me and my son to be a little annoying. I've seen other posts about it so it probably isn't as rare as you think.

What is the PS4 equivalent? From what I see the 'Inventory' is on the Options button so it's cumbersome to get to. Leaving you very vulnerable.
(Will edit my post to clarify that I'm on PS4)
