Hi, I'm just wondering if it's possible to add in a feature in which when you open an apex pack, if you dislike it, you can refund it for half the crafting metals that went in. I'm personally a free to play and it's really hard to get crafting metals so that I can craft the things I want, I also have multiple poses and quips etc. that I don't use, so being able to refund them for maybe 25%-50% of the regular crafting metals put in would be a huge help.
Thanks!

That would be good for them too because it would lead to you getting less for your money which is a win win on their side.

If you have a lot of stuff unlocked you will be just getting metals, I have i think atleast 50% - 75% unlocked and keep getting 2/3 metals in every Apex Pack, so it kind of already works like that.

I'm level 64 and only have a small fraction of cosmetic "stuff" unlocked. I refuse to pay for my own vanity, just for cosmetic(my vanity is not that high), I want executions that the enemy "feels". I loved it in Titian fall 2. I still get regular cosmetic junk with only 650 crafting metal.

I understand that Respawn can't make the Crafting metals too easily accessible otherwise everyone would be rocking around with legendary cosmetics in a short space of time.
That said, the yield on any metals received should be more than what it currently is... I hardly ever get metal in my packs and when I do the amount is honestly pitiful.
Maybe incorporate them into the battlepass, that would add alot of incentive for player progression I think and also as the seasons go on and the battlepass evolves have challenges that earn them too.
Answer seems simple to me:
A) if the chance to gain is low then increase amount awarded when they are.
B) if the chance to gain is raised then keep the amount awarded either the same as current(I say this because its terrible now) or lower it more dependant on how high the chance to gain is...

I agree with this even for players who pay. The only way loot boxes are useful imo is if you can at least sell back the stuff you want towards craft metal, opening boxes and not getting what you want constantly would make less money
