I wish the melee in this game was more fine tuned, specially since at times its your saving grace or only method of killing a person. Enemies or teammates jumping massive distances to get a hit in without actually moving due to the lock on, enemies that get hits off despite not being within melee range when the animation starts, enemies that don't take damage but still get knocked back from melee, the lock on itself not working properly, being within melee range of a target with your cursor on them and yet the attack doesn't do damage nor reach the target, the speed difference between an attack that hits and an attack that doesn't, the animation lock, the melee prioritizing doors or downed targets rather than an actual enemy, an enemy downing you or hitting you despite their animation starting after you've been downed or hit, getting your melee attack off first and knocking away an enemy before they can hit you and their attack animation plays after you've knocked them back but somehow their attack has still hit, etc. etc. etc.
It's just kind of annoying to lose duels, even to win them to be honest, due to how odd the melee behavior in this game is. I shouldn't win a fight with 20 health left because my opponent's melee attack locked them onto a door instead of me, and I shouldn't be losing fights because my punch doesn't want to lock onto the enemy after I've gotten them to less than 30 health.

I find melee fights end up taking ages,i think due to lock ons nature it ends up sending both parties out of lock on range repeatedly, then theres fact that both parties are constantly moving around to try and evade hits.
You can't really just make a break for it to grab a gun either as the enemies lock on melee will just whomp you.
To top it off theres only a small number of legends that have a get out clause for this either,due to the nature of their abilities. Nothing worse than being about to kill a wraith in a melee fight and she just runs away using her ability. XD
