3rd party. Only able to be done because of sound. The gunshots in this game are far to loud and should be toned down. I understand being able to hear them from the same area maybe with ultra good headsets I understand the next area. But hearing people from half the map almost and the current distance is to much. Third partying happens the entire game until the last squad. There are 17 areas I believe in super close proximity. Hearing footseps os fine but again, as of recent I can't make a single game or fight without third parties. It would make sense that certain weapons make more noise, but I just took out 2 with a p2020 and two more squads ran in from other areas.

Starting a fight with one team usually means your team ends up fighting off half the lobby. It is such a consistent problem that whenever a team trys to engage me from a distance now (snipers, potshots), my team and I simply leave the area without returning fire and come back when we hear that team getting third partied for daring to fire their weapons in an fps.

I kind of like this aspect of Apex where you can hear firefights in the distance because it puts pressure on squads to get the fight over with. It cranks up the stress levels and causes errors in judgement which brings in a different mental aspect to the gameplay which players have to deal with. I feel like it's all part of the competition between squads.

I really enjoy multi-squad battles, even if they can be frustrating. It makes Apex feel dynamic and alive because you are conscious that all players are part of the cycle of pursuit and predation. It's like one of those wildlife documentaries in the Serengeti. There's a wildness to the combat in Apex and I think it's partly because you can hear the fighting.

@warslagI agree completely. Multi-squad battles are dynamic and interesting. Also hearing sounds from the distance and winning such fights sometimes requires advanced tactical decisions. Because we all know this game is not only running and shooting.

It’s not just apex with third partying it’s just a common thing for battle royale’s.
If it bother’s you try running a sniper pick them off from medium/long range or before engaging check the surroundings!
I know for one if I see someone running in the middle/in open/fighting easy longbow hits just adept ya play and you should be ok 😮😎 practice makes perfect I always like to say! 😜

I find it hilarious that no matter what arguement is brought up here you guys defend the game to the death regardless of the scenario someone brings up. The OP is right 3rd partying happens too much. Like not like one other party but its more like a 4th party and a 5th party. Getting 3rd partied from a close vacitnity is okay ... when your at air base and your getting 3rd partied from skull town thats NOT okay. They hear you that far .... that's ridiculous. Sorry but there is ZERO reason why that should be a thing ... because I fire a single bullet should not justify a reason for half the map to breathe down my neck in the next 40 seconds.
