Chaps, maybe what is needed is a basic "etiquette guide" for players not used to team-based games. So let's make one.
1.) If you are the Jumpmaster, ping out where you want to land.
2.) If your squaddies say "no" to your LZ, ping another place. I'd say two options and then you're free to direct the jump as you want.
3.) If you are not the Jumpmaster, stay in formation and go with your squad. Don't peel off. If the LZ sucks, you will get another option in a few minutes.
4.) On initial drop, don't hog the weapons. If you don't have one, signal that to your squad.
5.) Move as a squad. As you get ready to explore another area, ping that direction so your squaddies know where you're going and can go with you.
6.) Don't split up.
7.) If you get knocked down, you need to be a spotter and ping where the enemies are -- ping enemy ONCE unless they move, a TRIPLE ping for if they are reviving one of their own teammates. Don't repeatedly ping because we are listening for the enemy.
8.) If you get knocked down, wait to be revived.
9.) If your squaddie gets knocked down, attempt to revive them.
10.) If your squaddie gets killed, attempt to get their banner. This should be SOP. Be patient. If we are hanging around waiting for the team that killed you to leave, we are still going to try to get your banner.
11.) If you are dead and observing, do NOT keep pinging your banner. Once is plenty. If you keep pinging it, I will then ignore your pleas.
12.) When you respawn a teammate, get some distance from the beacon and look for enemies. Don't just stand there. If there are no supply boxes, drop a weapon. OPEN nearby supply boxes and ping contents so they can hear it as they drop in.
13.) Do NOT shoot at enemies across the valley UNLESS you have given your team a heads-up, as in, "attacking over there", and then your team can say yes or no.
14.) Do NOT give your position away unnecessarily. In Armed & Dangerous it's a little different because one shot can kill an enemy, but in general, use some common sense.
15.) It's not a foot race sim, it's a combat strategy game. Approach new areas with some caution. Use cover. Work with your team.
That's a start. Please add.
(added a couple of your suggestions, thanks everyone)

If you join my team only 3 rules apply!
1. Aim
2. Shoot
3. Kill
There it is, the hard, cold, truth.
There is no dying in my team, remember that...
Please send me a PM if you have what it takes :eahigh_file:

If you manage to beat a squad, revive downed teammates before you loot as you don’t know if and when a 3rd party may come.. the more guns blazing the better.
September 2019
1. Jump master pings where they're going to land / the overall zone where your team should be landing. 100% correct.
2. If they say no, they should have a place in mind to land. If they don't ping another spot, drop to where you pinged anyway. If they don't want to land there, they can drop by themselves.
3. Always, ALWAYS peel away from the drop master. BUT! Never so far away you can't assist your squad if they start taking fire. No one wants to fight their teammates for loot, and 3 people looting a single house is a surefire way to make sure no one has anything.
4. Hog the weapons, what's lying on the ground now can be picked up by an enemy later to kill you with. Grab the weapons and ammo, run to the teammate without a weapon and drop it for them, or if they're following you, let them pick up the guns.
5. Yes, pay attention to where people are going.
6. Splitting up is a recipe for disaster. 1v3s are easy if everyone runs at you one at a time and gives you time to heal.
7. If you can spot them, spot them, if you can get to cover to be revived, prioritize that instead. On top of a building as Path with no way for your teammates to get to you as they fight who knocked you? Spot the enemies for them. You ran off on your own and got knocked, and the people who knocked you are getting third partied? Retreat to cover.
8. Sure if you want to.
9. Depends on the situation. You want to make sure the area is clear before you start reviving people, and trying to revive a teammate in the middle of a firefight is just asking to get shot. Take note of where the enemy is vs. where your teammate is and prioritize killing the enemy rather than reviving someone who's downed. Once again, reviving in the middle of a firefight is 100% a surefire way to get shot. On top of that, if your other teammate is fighting, you should prioritize helping them rather than the person who's downed. If that person fighting gets knocked, the enemy has time to revive their teammates leading to a 2v3 or in worst case scenarios, 1v3s all at once.
10. Once again, this depends. Sometimes it's better to leave teammates to expire so you and possibly your other teammate can get a head up on the enemy. Positioning plays a really big part of what goes into a win, and if your teammates banner expires but your team gets the win, they can't really be mad. On top of that, some people just don't pay attention, and or are trolling, or are new, and risking life and limb to retrieve their banner doesn't always work out.
11. Seriously, ping it more than once and there's a 100% chance I'm gonna walk up to your banner and let you expire.
12. Always cover respawning teammates. Run with them back to their box, keep checking the area to make sure it's clear, etc. etc. etc.
13. NEVER SHOOT ANYONE THAT'S NOT WITHIN YOUR TEAMS PUSHING DISTANCE. The farther you are away from your target, the less likely you are to hit, the less likely you are to down someone, and all you've really done is reveal your location to the enemy, and alert other teams within listening range where you are. Seen a guy pop shots on someone at Water Treatment while we were sitting at Watch Tower with an R301. Next thing you know, we start taking fire from Repulsor, and the squad that R301 guy was shooting at came up a zip and killed both squads.
14. Yes 100%.
15. It's a really fast combat strategy game, make decisions quickly and think about where you're going and how you're going to engage enemies on an area basis. Planning is the key to success, and I'd say is fairly more important than pointing your gun in the right direction.
Additions:
16. Don't take loot that isn't yours. Don't loot your teammates boxes unless you absolutely 100% have to. Now if they're a *, that's a different story. Heck yeah I'm gonna take that Fast Heal bag as kill leader with 2k damage just cause you've been doing nothing BUT trash talking this entire game, die mad about it.
17. If you didn't contribute to a fight, don't take the best gear. If your teammate 1v3s a squad, let them have the best loot, cause obviously if they can 1v3 a squad all at once they're gonna need it and will probably carry you to victory. Over and over I see my teammates contribute nothing (I mean seriously like 100 damage end game as I sit there with 7+ kills and 1k damage) who pick up the best attachments and armor and do nothing but get killed.
18. Everything on initial drop is first come first serve. If you're running alongside your teammate and they don't leave you anything, that's kinda your fault for not picking a different spot to land. On the other hand, if you pinged you were going there (whether as jump master or while breaking off) and they still run through your building, feel free to leave. Teammates who don't listen to "I'm going here" pings don't listen to any other pings either.
19. If you have a mic, at least use it? Constructively? Love it when people have microphones, don't call out anything, don't ping anything, run off, get killed, and scream into the mic wondering why we're not following them. News flash, you have the means to tell people everything about what you're doing, you just chose not to use it, and your other two teammates are just as free to choose to let your banner expire. Don't care if you're kill leader, don't care if you have 15k kills as Wraith, don't care if you were carrying us the entire way through, if you're gonna be a *, then I'll make the choice to let you die.

Great post!
As for an addition to this list, open up the supply bins for the teammate getting spawned back in. Helps save a few seconds and you can ping the items in the bins so they know what to immediately grab. Even if there aren't any weapons, at least give them any nades that are in there to defend themselves (if you don't have a secondary weapon you can drop)
Just to add a little more to #7....
I try to ping the enemy every 10 seconds unless I know they're sitting in the same spot. If they move to another building I may toss in another ping, unless it's apparent the teammate knows they're right next to them. It's tough to hear footsteps or the enemy reviving another player when someone spams the pings. Generally, 1 ping for enemy location and 3 quick pings for when someone is getting revived.
