Just the general lack of content and minimal updates make me bored. It simply just can’t keep me interested anymore. The re addition of King’s Canyon was somewhat interesting, but there is literally nothing else. I will still probably grind so I can pay off my pass, but I don’t really want to play this game anymore. The good updates are few and far between, leaving me with too much time and too little content.
Server issues are also a big problem, as I’ll jump online and I’ll be hit with constant lag. Even the Firing Range has bad lag every so often.
Crossplay. It doesn’t affect me much, but most of my rl friends have started to turn back to Fortnite since the quarantine. Even the few who still played Apex have rejoined Fortnite, and this is because Fortnite has Cross Play. If Apex has Cross Play, it would do a lot better. Sure, it’d be difficult to do, but you should probably keep it as it is now, with Console playing Console and PC playing PC, but if a PC and Console player played together they would also play a mix of PC and Console players.
All in all, I’m going to be fading out of Apex for the time being. I know the community has been going strong, but it might be starting to slow down. A small but steady drift away from Apex. The community will be strong for a while, but as it is now, it’ll probably fade into irrelevancy relatively fast.
