Please fix kicking players for inactivity. In a group of 3, two of us got killed at the beginning and we decided our third should leave and go for top 3. He found a spot that the circle kept moving into, and managed to evade everyone. Then he crouched and hid for a couple of circles while everyone was shooting each other, waiting for a good time to third party. BUT, he got kicked for inactivity, even though we were all watching him look around, listening to sounds. Please fix this BS. Just lost points because we made top 5 and not top 3. Ranked games are broken due to the buy-in system and a bunch of random issues like this.

Game is detecting keyboard presses. If you stay longer time in one place with just moving mouse around, you will be kicked for inactivity

Yes, we know. The thing is at higher ranks, the slightest footstep gives away your position, so he had to stay still. It was hilarious to watch, though. Someone ran right by him at point blank range and didn't turn to look in his corner.

How long was your buddy in the spot for without moving? It's unfortunate your friend was caught in these circumstances, but based off what we've heard from the Apex team if this happens this indicates a player sitting idle for a while since ring rounds tend to be under 2 minutes at the end. It's more likely to happen if you're in the very middle of the circle for longer than 1 ring round without moving at all. This is to help combat idle players and encourage movement around the map.

Thank you devs for inactivity!
Even Top 5 is a generous place for a camper.
You can't be still all the time.
When the circle is small if enemies hear a step then it's time for you to fight.
I can't believe that people create threads because you can't make it to Top 3 without moving. Funny!
Accept your loss as a team and move on.

In that case, mouse movement should also be a trigger to reset the idle timer.
