Uh…. If you think a newbie who never played Fortnite or any other similar game, (unlike most players who play Apex), will get much better by being killed every single match even before 2 minutes has passed, you are rather naive. For players to be better, they need to meet others at similar or a little higher level. Not people 100 times better than themselves.

I play the game the same way as him but if my jumpmaster goes for the Dropocalypse you just suck it up and hope you get a kill or two before the inevitable plays out rather than throwing your toys all over the Internet floor.
There’s always a next round.

There's something to be said for suggesting that new players drop solo somewhere quiet, so that:
1) they have time to become familiar with the physics & loot
2) they don't negatively impact upon their other teammates
3) they feel like they've achieved something
If solo play is ever added to the game, I hope Respawn recommend it to new players.

You are really complaining about a Battle Royale being too hard and requires matchmaking to make it easier for others? Honestly, you are probably just bad at this game and just need more time to get used to it. Nothing wrong with that. Start off by landing farther than the others unless your teammates are purposely dropping in hot zones.

The hardest part is that this game is about 10% actual combat, 90% walking and looting. So you don't get much opportunity to get better.
Best way to practice is buy Titanfall 2. Very similar gun mechanics and the multiplayer is non stop action.

I don't agree. A new player will definitely gain experience by roaming the map, learning the locations, learning how to loot efficiently, learning how to hide, learning how to aim, learning his legends moves and skills, etc.
And staying alive 10-15 mins will boost new players confidence.

Yeah thats right. But after a few games an knowledge of the map etc. it comes down to fighting. And that is the problem. Looting for 15 minutes and get wiped out in 2-3 seconds with full health and purple armour by a top squad with 500, 1000, 5000+ kills is not building confidence,... it just sucks.. and there is no improvement in these type of fights. After 15 minutes there are only good teams left, so no easier fights any more. I think this game needed a skill based matchmaking right from the start to make this game enjoyable for everyone.

I hope you realise the contradiction in that statement.
