With cross-play coming to Apex Legends later this year and cheaters on PC still being a huge issue (a cheater made it to #4 Apex Predator before being banned...) I have some important suggestions and feedback as to how we can tackle this.
1) Upon cross-play's launch, every platform has the ability to utilise an in-game report system, not just PC. This report system will allow you to report cheater concerns, communication abuse, toxicity, teaming with enemies in competitive and a lot of other things considered against the rules in a Battle Royale
2) Respawn should employ a dedicated team of moderators who read reports and take the necessary action. Not just any team, a BIG team. A big team who can handle cases as quickly as possible and in a just manner
3) Take time to fix the anti-cheat program. It needs to be very good at detecting abnormal player behaviour and also should be able to ensure the player is indeed cheating before finalising an Apex Legends ban. Essentially this should do 90% of the work in dealing with cheaters with a human moderator to ensure the ban is just

Used to love playing Apex. Not so much now, it is an even play with Consol and PC. Halo is looking really good. I Apex is infuriating Because it is so obvious. What a joke! It’s enough to walk.

I think it's best to give the whistleblower some positive feedback to improve the initiative of reporting. For example, if the report is confirmed, the whistleblower can be told by email. And give whistleblower a Apex Pack. To prevent abuse of reporting, a daily limit can be added or use some legend token to let players to make good use of reporting system.
