Whilst using the option to remove the numerical damage counter when shooting opponents (because its incredibly distracting), i feel it would be a good idea to A) change the base colour of the hit marker to another set colour e.g red. B) Give the player the option to select their own hit marker colour.
I realize this isnt an urgent requirement, but for those of us who use this option it'd be much easier to determine whether we're actually landing hits.

Yeah exactly bud, as both the crosshairs and markers appear white currently, theyre not the easiest to identify during hectic CQC situations.
On a sidenote, @warslag turning the hit data off will really help with stuff like the peacekeeper, i find it much easier to land shots now, and you lose that psychological element of stressing over low damage hits.

I think this is a super idea! :eahigh_file:
I personally always change my crosshairs colours to the yellow from BF2 because I played that game so much, and the hit markers to red again because of BF2. But thinking about what you said about damage numbers being a distraction, I think I might turn them off now. I reckon I can get a feel for damage anyway.
