in-player report system than to put a whole guide for it
April 2019 - last edited April 2019
Ok. I just played a game in which my ally would not stop calling me a c**t repeatedly throughout the game and to die and a heap more profanity. How do I report this player for swearing over mic if the games now over and he had a very long character name that doesn't contain words therefore cannot remember? How do I look at recently played with profiles to be able to report this player now? I'm actually pretty amazed this isn't obvious in game if they have indeed added it in game as they claim.
At the end of the game I stated I would report him and he said "go ahead I will never be banned for this". Is he right? Because I can't even find a manual method of reporting this player now...

@bigssp> I think that best solution is to record it - video. There are many ways, many programs to do that. Have one ready during game play, hit record shortcut any time you need.

I'm not looking to video someone. I only want to report for obvious profanity. How do I simply report a past player for obvious rule breaking in this next gen battle royal game... is what I'm asking.

It shouldn't require a Guide to teach people how to Report players, it should just be a simple option built into the Games on each Platform that is easy to see and access...

Considering the very high number of cheaters that this game can boast and the total ineffectiveness of the anticheat software, which is more easily bypassed than a camping table, it is normal for the stoics who insist on playing without taking a cheat suspicious of everyone .
If it is true that using cheats is allowed by the Dev's, and this fact is incontrovertible, otherwise the cheaters would rarely be very few and no more than 75% of Apex users, so it is also legitimate to insult exactly how to use cheats.
Until there is a serious and functioning anticheat the problem will remain and I repeat the fault is not of the users but of the Dev's.
Wake Up !!!

By the way, I saw the cheat-selling BOT this week.
And that is clearly upgraded and be worse than the last month.
Maybe you know what I mean.
Last month, they only spammed the address where they are selling cheats.
Now, they do the sales talk.
Apparently, they tried to sell cheats with their features.
How bold they are, huh?

Well it looks like they put this in the game now a day after I posted. Able to view last squad profiles and able to report from there. This is pretty late into release to have a simple report team mate method from within game. The report opponent is very difficult and awkward and still no death cam? C'mon people.

Apex uses source engine, which means there are highly developed hacks out there already which doesn't require much modification to use in Apex. I doubt they are using valve's VAC software and it's a bit pointless with a free game as there is no repercussions. But then again, Counter Strike is now free too. Prob why there is so many hackers on public CS servers now too. I hope they are doing something about it or this will hurt the release. I've gone multiple games in a row where my squad has been killed by a hacker. I have friends who are not playing the game again until they sort out the hacking. PubG went through a similar phase. They didn't have a kill cam or report feature in teh early days. But I would think a release this late into the genre would of thought of this ahead, specially being a free to play.

the report system is pretty useless anyways...
you get downed by a probable cheater, but then you get thirsted by someone else, now you cant even watch the cheater and report him, cause you are stuck with watching the guy that thirsted you... bloody useless i would say.
in 90% of all cases you dont end up spectating the guy that downed you.
also if you watch someone right at the end of the match, well as soon as the match ends, the report feature is gone.
this report system as of now is mostly cosmetics, "see we did something".
today i had a cheater, that i couldnt even find on origin, i checked multiple times, that i had the spelling right, origin couldnt find that player, so thats the new hackers, you cant even report them, cause they are not listed in the system.
