I read in another topic

@eqtblI would Love 2 decent teammates who can make at least 400 dmg in a game.
Most of my games i get low lvl guys that need a babysittee and are completely useless. So we both dont have what we want, a pity
Also read another one about potatoes teamates

Every match I'm facing off against clanned up 20 bomb, 4k damage duos (+1 random) yet my teammates are routinely complete potatoes with <1 K/D, don't know how to dibs items, run headlong into enemies without pinging, and have no clue of item locations/good drop points in this (almost week old) KC event?!

I'd understand if I solo queued & was used to fill up a duo squad, but that simply isn't the case; I've not had a vaguely competent teammate in around a dozen games.
I am one of such players, low level guy who struggles (because FPS was not my forte and taking time far from games was necessary too). While Apex is really enticing and making me wanting to try hard and grind it, the pace of the game makes it hard to train fighting abilities.
I can indeed take Aim labs or 3daimtrainer or Kovax or whatever (and I do), but what could be best is having a free for all mode with instant respawn and "lives". If Devs want to add it "prizes" and weekly/daily challenges like they do for other modes, it would not be bad, but the best one would be learning to manage some skills.
I actually navigate pretty well, learned to use the tacticals/ultimates, signal items, share them, signal ennemies and try to grab fallen players/reanimate them and so on. I can manage to finish in the top 10/5, even alone (when I could not help fallen teamates or deliver them to respawn -I know what you think, but it's not easy when trying not to be killed and being unable to defend efficiently-)
I just suck as hell at fighting, I improved at making damage (mainly at long range or very close one), but finally fragging is still difficult because average level is pretty high in some areas and final turns.
So a free for all mode could be a nice addition.
Or at least, a shooting range with higher challenge, because on the range, I am not so bad,
but something that would involve moving targets plus moving myself would be better than to rely on outside apps like the ones I mentionned earlier.
That would be more "in game"
Like moving platforms plus moving targets and so on...
Or even simple bots trying to kill you (no need for them to have advanced tracking AI, just bots in a room /arena and you have to fight waves or turns of bots to try and improve while not frustrating other humans)
Also, for "patchwork teams", it could be nice to select if you want other players to have a mic or not or you don't care,
Also different modes for each game type: "level balanced teams" or "level balanced teamates"
The first one balances all the teams like actually, so sharpshooter guy will have to carry me even when I don't want to be carried.
the second one balances teams at player level: the range of levels to be with depending on the 60 players involved and "centiles" or "quartiles". Like if your in the top tier or quartile, you can only be mixed with players from this tier or quartile, either randomly (possibly ending with OP teams, but random OP is fun) or balancedly (with teams from that tier being balanced to have the average level of that tier).
Also, bonuses for ending game should be reworked:
I remarked that even when I am killed at say 10mn, and can't finish the game alive, I get the whole time of survival of my time (so the best one of my teamate's) bonus.
I feel like carried in challenge even not wanting it and it is frustrating and seems to be working not as intended.
(And I am not talking about players who leave early when downed, even if they could be respawned -which should maybe get a penalty-), I am just talking about staying to look how your teamates do, and getting such bonus while you stayed alived much less time.
Also, if one player in team keeps reanimating you but you don't reanimate others, he should get double bonus for the number of times he reanimates you (or the difference in times he reanimated and you didn't).
Being reanimated might have a penality too, respawning would "erase" your frag bonuses (but not your frag count) until that point.
I am also pretty frustrated not being able to congratulate talented enemies,
or not being able to see the whole roster of teams and level (even if they were not saved on your servers, that might allow to save them locally if they want for particularly epic games -no pun intented)
And even if I love the "customisation" options, maybe having to rely on random loots and boxes to be able to show your frags/total damage overall and for a season should be standard for other players to know what/who they are up to/teaming with.
(A little part of free customisation to display your gaming style on the banner so teamates know it would be great).
Finally, an inside guide of individual weapons type/damage/firing rate/ammo would be great for players who want to improve.
That would be better than having to seek for external resources (I am a casual try harder, I only have time to try hard, not so much to do research around the game, or to take notes from the shooting range)
Besides these points, I really love the game, tension, challenge, and the above is just what would in my humble opinion make the game better for people whose skill is much better than mine, and people like me who wants to improve but have not the skill and "FPS habit" to make it happen merely by just playing 2/3 squads games.
Apart of that maps are greats (maybe one point is that in some zones there are windows/transparent walls and doors everywhere, so there's is not much point to try and hide.
Thanks
