@Pretzelnutcake I totally understand this situation that only pre made groups will prevail in ranked and even in normal games. That's why I suggested to subdivide the community into different tiers. Keep the crap players out and keep the masters out. Let the middle tiers i.e. the average and better than average guys play with each other. Idk if the matchmaking system will be changed anytime soon but tbh s4 has ruined my playing experience. The better I get the more disappointed I am with my teammates. It's like when I used to be a backpack I used to get all OP teammates with 4k badges but now all I get is 300 lvl guy with 13 kills and no communication skills or ideas on how to play Apex Legends.

”The better I get the more disappointed I am”
man I feel this so much m I’ve played for three months now and the amount of teammates I get that are clueless or rage quit is unreal , the MM of this game truly lets it down so much.
i agree that there needs to be MM based on level , KD and badges , a squad of level 400 players shouldn’t be in matches with three guys below 100 , it sucks.

Actually, that doesn't make sense.
Because I'm nearly at the skills cap of Level 500 and I get matched with Level 1 ~ 202 frequently, it's rare I find people 300+ in my squad unless it's intentional, meaning I formed a squad or duo or someone added me with those levels. As I've said it before, Levels mean nothing, all that refers to is you successfully finishing the various daily, weekly and event challenges. It doesn't mean you good.
I've checked that via ranked, events and standard matches in trio or duo, doesn't seem to matter in Season 4 ~ 8.

Well, as a semi potato myself (just as far as fighting goes, I am a good teamate and teamplayer apart of that, I backup, I share items, pings then and enemies, navigates and uses my tacticals to help, I also don't want people to risk themselves to drop me at a beacon for respawn or to grab me when I fall under a moving ring),
I just have to say that I am sorry that you good players feel like that and agree that we should be assorted by K/D ranks (that would also allow people to train better, because TTK/D is high and while I could become quite proficient at ninja navigating the maps, opening paths or locating enemies for avoiding them or jumping weakened teams, and getting to know the useful loot and so on, getting better at fight is hard.
A better shooting range with bots and such rank matching would also be better (with occasional "all ranks" games being rated differently, there is actually no value to high/diamond ranked players to kill walking deads like me, I have a shameful K/D).
Plus help/information about weapon characteristics and so on without having to go outside of the game...

I am not a top-tier player by any means, but I enjoy playing the game the way it was intended and trying for wins. The amount of times I've been matched with teammates that have less than zero game sense and can barely get the basic movement down has really soured the game for me lately. Consistently getting those teammates when I hop into pubs and get queued into a lobby of preds (I'm plat so even if rank was a factor it doesn't make sense). I have no problem being matched against competent players, but I have a problem when I see a consistent disadvantage with my teammates and end up getting rolled every game, especially in pubs. Ranked seems to be more casual than casual now which is ridiculous in my eyes.
