One of three things happens when you're mid-game and you get a squad invite.
1: It pops up in the lower right, and you ignore it/press N (or press Y if you're teamed with some meat heads).
2: YOUR GAME MINIMIZES TO TASKBAR. Hope you weren't fighting. You'll probably be dead before you realize WTF happened and click it in the taskbar to maximize it again.
3: YOUR GAME AUTO ACCEPTS. Hope you aren't on the friends list of whoever you were in the match with already. You'll be getting some angry "WTF, Y U LEAVE US TO DIE BRO?" messages.
This has been an issue for myself and many others since the game came out. Since you can't figure it out to fix it, PLEASE give us a DIRECT method to turn off the BROKEN invite system. Yes, I can go invisible and then ready up. But then my buddies won't know I'm on to ask me if I want to group up.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Invites can be disabled (I've done it myself, as I too was thoroughly sick of games being ruined by the auto accept bug).
However, this isn't a satisfactory solution as the invite system is a fundamental necessity.
Besides fixing the auto accept bug, I want an option to allow receipt of invites *only* when in the menus.
While I'm playing the game there should be ZERO origin pop-ups.

@DraknostThese have happened to me before but not in awhile I turned off that thing to where people won’t see my name after matches, but I still recieve invites somehow, one time i got kicked out to task bar like you said and a couple times i never got an invite it just accepted by itself

@FaIIenAngeI777 It isn't randos that are inviting me via the 'invite the last people you played with' and ruining my game. It is people on my friends list who can invite me, even if we haven't played yet at all that day. That's a built in feature to the whole 'friends list' thing and it is a GOOD idea, they just need to remove the buggy parts of it.
