Now that yous have tried & failed to combat 3rd Partying with a Legend, maybe now try what the community says and lower the Guns Audio. Its just stupid how I can hear fighting 400m away.

The only way you'll fix 3rd partying is if you make the game have 2 teams only :S

totally agree, 3rd partying is part of any BR game, and god do we love it when we are that 3rd party!!
however I see the point of view that guns produce entirely too much noise. if someone fires a gun 2 locations over, you still here it. It doesn't really bother me that much as it makes the games fast paced and action packed

Goh with that. 3rd partying is gonna happen.. in every game. Seen it in fornite, pubg and blackout... it’ll be around as long as BR is man. It totally sucks forsure but it’s player judgement... ppl are gonna capitalize on those situations... not everyone will, I’ve backed off quite a lot bc we wasn’t set enough to push but if the team feels like they can do it then they’re gonna lol

Most of the third partying issues I run into are in one of two ways.
Hot Drops, but I won't play with you again if you hot drop. It's stupid and annoying 99% of the time, odds of survival are not that great and the benefit is not good. Plus it serves no purpose to actually winning the game. The game is about survival and loot. You can get good enough loot to win the game with out fighting for it.
The other area is towards the end of game with there are only 4-5 squads left. This is where it annoys me the most. Okay the map is so small that there is NO way you're going to survive. You fight one team, take them out and don't even have time to heal before the thirs party arrives.
I used to think this was just part of the game. But it's really not a good part of the game. I almost won a game in which my two team mates got taken out in the first 2 minutes. There was no chance I could revive them so we opted to have me just run and hide. I made it to the final 5, then it was me vs 2 other squads. I third partied the squad that was winning and came with in 1 shot of winning the game.

No, there are ways to combat against it. Stop trying to hide it as a problem.

I think that third partying also is a "problem" due to the way many people like to play the game, including me at least in Casual. That is; pick up a R99 and PK, run towards every single fight and push in to close range like a maniac without a single strategic thought in my mind =)
If you actually use your brain when playing, there are many things you can actively do in the game to at least minimize the chances of getting third partied. I think the map awareness is one of the most important factors here. Depending on your teams position on the map in relation to the enemy teams position when engaging each other, it is pretty easy to estimate a probability of a third team joining the fight in from which direction they most likely will come from.
Some people just dont think about these things. One guy I play alot of ranked with who is a good player can literally spot one team close to the south, then spot another team close to the north and want us to push the team in the north. And when I say that we 100% will get third partied by the team to the south, he answers "oh I didnt think about that" =)

One problem from my point of view is, that many players are running too fast and hectically over the map.
The race for loot makes them blind for the dangers!
It starts right at the drop:
So many jumpmasters start the drop immediately when the countdown ends...
They think the faster they land the more and the better is the loot!
But we do allready know that loot can be a devil and pretty random.
Better: Wait until half the squads are gone and look for a landing position further away (left or right) from the dropships way.
The second thing I recognized is that many jumpmaster do not look arround during the flight.
Maybe many do not know that using the right mouse button lets you savely turn your view, without changing flight direction.
You can see how many squads follow you or will land near you.
Next thing is, many jumpmaster do not like to change their landing spot.
Even if there are 5 squads landing at the same spot, they just ignore pinged enemys and alternative landing positions.
Better: change the landing position slightly if there is too much trouble...
On the ground there are many other problems:
Many players seem to have no surroundsound equipment.
They cant locate footsteps!
As I allready said the rush over the map like mad chickens!
They do not stop to look left and right, they do not stop to check the building in front, they do not look back to check the rear.
99% of matches completely lack tactical movement.
Finally the loot greed...
I mean if I stand right in front of a shield battery and open my inventory to throw something away,
I can be sure someone else just grabs it.
Same with the weapons or ammo right after landing!
Sometimes I have no weapon or no ammo but my teamates each have 2 weapons and full backpacks...
I don't know... Instead of blaming the game the players should think over their behaviour and playstyle!
