Fix-Balance Ranked Matchmaking [ Edited ]

Hello there

I quit Apex back in march and only recently returned, i can already see within the first 3 days of playing that the ranked matchmaking is 1 of the worst i've seen in any game.

So currently any ranks can play with eachother.
This includes an account that was created 4 hours ago can already play in diamond rank...

What i've seen being abused is that people get a friend to play with them on a lower rank / alt account :

*They are going to lose elo they just leave on the alt account and the mains don't lose elo.
*A cheat is used on a noob/alt account to boost the main ones...

*Bronze acc used by Smurf playing in high ranks
It also doesn't make sense AT ALL that a bronze , silver or even gold account can queue with diamonds.
There are reasons why most other games don't allow this (some as mentioned before)...

The fix is EXTREMELY simple...

Let players only play/queue with 1 tier higher or lower. So plat can play with gold & diamond. Diamond can play with platinum and predator.
The current "They get put into the highest rank" doesn't work.... Anyone who has done any game design will know that.
There is also absolutely 0 reason why a bronze would be able to play with a platinum because normally speaking their skill isn't high enough to play there.


Side : 

I've had so many people in my team and enemies that are absolute bots and barely hit shots and have very bad movement. Simply because they got boosted in such ways to plat/diamond...

Pretty much 40% of ALL my matches played in plat & diamond i have a championsquad with a total bot and 1-2 bronze/silver accounts in the team. Some are just smurfs but some are cheaters. Even if it are smurfs they shouldn't be able to play in diamond on a bronze account...



Ranked would be a LOOOOOT more balanced and fun if you'd simply implement the 1 tier difference rule to the MM...

Ranked is most definitely being ruined with this form of cheating and the constant dashboarding. I share the pain and it is absolutely god awful at times trying to play solo. 

I can see apex folding in on itself if it's not sorted fairly quickly. Last couple of months ranked has become so bad that I am very very close to quitting apex all together

@Ze_Lethal_Viper Yeah, I don't think a Diamond ranked player should be able to party up with a friend in bronze and boost them to their level.

I've run into a guy before, literally called ''SmurfingForDays'' and he told me he was using a smurf to get his friend into Diamond. I told him that if you need to make a smurf to get your friend into diamond, I don't think he's meant to be there...

The worst part is that once they're there, then they can't ever de-rank, so you have players of say silver level skill in your Diamond lobbies. And as a solo player, to put it bluntly, It's not fun to try and play competitively with boosted noobs on my team.

Don't forget people using a XIM so they can enable AIM ASSIST while using a mouse and keyboard faking apex into thinking they have a controller. In a PC game which has no reason existing if people cant play a pc game with a controller too bad go play console. They go from plat to predator in one day and brag about it using this aim assist in conjunction with a keyboard and mouse to make it even more powerful.

Love the AIM assist keep that controller aim assist going apex PC might as well have ingame 5$ option for aimbot.

Should ban every player doing this though...
I'm fine with controllers being used on PC, used to it from many other games. But aim assist on mouse is pretty much aimbot xD...
