Apologies if this is a duplicate, but I ran a search and didn’t find anything about this;
On the new map, I’ve been on several final 2 squads now progressing to the final ring which is inaccessible to one or both squads.
The latest one today had inaccessible terrain cutting the second to last ring in half, with no pathways around it while there were 4 squads left.
My squad eliminated the other two squads on the slightly smaller side of the map ring side, while it was on the third to last ring and closing. Once we’d eliminated the third placed team we were completely isolated from the other surviving team.
Basically can the end-zones be reviewed so that it’s possible to actually make a journey to the other side of impassable terrain in final zones (we also had a pathfinder - we couldn’t zip line up the cliff face).
We basically had to wait the full minute and a half for the zone to simply close in on us, while the winning team had nothing to do from top 4 to 1st.
EDIT; also on one occasion both teams were trapped under the railway with both zip lines to get up to the railway track being outside the zone and any player attempting to get up the zip line died... so rather than fighting to the ring the squads were basically fighting for a sliver of space under the railway to survive the longest outside the zone. As it turned out an enemy wraith used their portal to survive while my team (without a wraith or pathfinder) died with no way to survive the heavy ring damage.
In short, because of poor placement of rings, it’s absolutely fundamental to have at least a wraith and pathfinder in your team - which shouldn’t be the case.
