This new mode definitely piques the interest and ive been playing a lot despite the incredibly painful gameplay experience.
1. These shadows are far too strong; if you kill several players at drop or along the way they will follow you the entire time since they can drop on you and see you from afar. 6 or 7 shadows on you is u manageable by most especially since there one hit without rare drop armor. Can we have a resplendent delay? Even just a few seconds?
2. Shadow Speed - Octane is practically useless as the fasted legend in the game because they are SO fast - I understand melee based enemies need speed buffs but theirs a reason everyone’s running pathfinder, because when you get rushed from multiple angles ( and you will) the only possible escape is to use your zip to give you an extra 5 seconds of reaction time
3. Ring Speed - The game lately (day 2) has been dragging on pre drop ship due to corner droppers and campers, making the team experience almost non existent once the final 10 are established
4. Dropship Timing - Once the final 10 are established the drop ship spawns in just over 100 seconds ( best guess) giving you enough time to make it their from various points on the map, but once the drop ships available theirs a swarm of shadows continuously spawning and guarding the area. The only survival I’ve witnessed is slipping in from the outside while all the shadows have explored all my chambers with their fists. It’s possible we could utilize a 6-8 second safe zone that randomly spawns 30-75 meters from the ship that damages shadows.
5. Loot Spawn - we need AMMO for 16 kill games where there’s absolutely no time to loot post drop
Some of these may be comparable to experiences with poor players rather than flawed game structure but I believe they are valid. I hope you agree

I am having a similar experience when playing this game mode.
As a shadow, it is super easy to make kills, especially when the dropships comes down.
3~4 kills in a row are easy to achieve.
Getting to drop from the sky as a shadow, in combination with the "heat view" and the 'killing notifications'
makes it super easy to hunt down legends. It is a no brainer.
My suggestion: Either reduce the shadows damage or let them spawn on the ground. Taking the drop ship advantage from them
would balance the game mode well enough in my opinion.
Another thought on the supplies in crates:
Remove the syringes.
Even with a blue armor a legend is a one-hit to a shadow. With purple and gold you survive a hit,
but you haven't got time to sit around and activate the syringes 4 times in a row to heal up. So there is no point
for this item in this mode.

Yea they should hit much softer. Like 4 hits on purple and 3 on blue 2 on grey and if you have none maybe 2 from a shadow still.

To those who think the Shadows are too strong, I have just one question; what on Earth are you smoking?!?
Play smart, and you won't have any trouble.
- Keep in buildings, out of sight. (Even windows give away your location)
- Avoid killing shadows, but if you must, get the hell out of their asap or you'll forever be hounded by his buddies.
- Take useful legends; -> Pathfinder
- Stay close to the evac zone; you want to be preparing the area with ziplines & traps long before the rescue ship arrives.
- Stay close to other Legends. Even before the final 10, there's benefit in having other Legends close by even if you don't actually fight them.
- Once there's a significant number of Shadows (5-10), avoid engaging other Legends as you'll attract Shadows who'll have it easy 3rd partying both of you.
- The same fundamental rules as regular games apply too; keep the high ground at all times. If there is no high ground, you're badly positioned.
If you die to a Shadow, you made a big mistake somewhere; Legends have it easy so long as they apply a little play-sense.

explain why shadow can use zip line?

Yeah, that mistake is to play this game. And even more annoying is to die from a shadow and then see that 10+ shadows just leave a game -.-

@TheJumpingJawa Hey man I value the oppositions opinion but it’s just not completely rational, I’ve already taken over 13 kill games in this mode without getting to drop ship circle. These shadows will rage drop you endlessly and destroy a perfectly strategized game. Your points are generally more valuable than the 60k view YouTube video I watched which was like the ONLY fight or fight strat video. So you may wanna compose a video for the players it would help the community getting more efficient gameplay strategy out there.

Lol, because I totally have the choice of being swarmed by 15+ shadows at the dropship when all the pathfinders and watsons have died and you know who makes it, the Mirages.. Please think before posting, the shadows are way OP, sure singularly they're weak but when you have 20+ shadows in a game who already killed half the final 10 I never see pathfinders making it, or those with high kill counts.. It's the cowards who have 2 kills who hid the entire game like I've done to actually win some matches.. Shadows are ridiculous in numbers and when you kill just 1 you'll have 2 more on you before 20 seconds has passed.. It's not about beginning game, it's about end game and I almost never see more than 2 legends make it to the ship if anyone makes it at all, so your post doesn't make much sense. If we had teams then there would be more weight to your post but when you have randoms who die at the drop of a hat it becomes unbearable to constantly make it to top 10 only to have a swarm of 20+ shadows all running around the drop ship, I've watched a lot of pathfinders try and zip line jump to the circle and I only seen it work once out of at least a dozen times, if a plan works for you then cool but for the rest of us who want to have fun with this game mode, the shadows need a nerf, the map pings need to go away, and shadows shouldn't have heat vision.. Simple as that and I'd love to play shadows like that, but to ask legends to win 25 times themselves for a badge is a bit much.. I've made top 10 a minimum of 35 times and only got on the ship 11 of those, it's really sad when I play 10 games straight and shadows win every game, I have an issue with that unbalanced gameplay..
