Respawn,
In regards to the controller aim-assist, please do something about it. I don't mean removing it, my suggestion would you choose to hear it, would be a simple matchmaking adjustment, where it would check if the aim-assist was active on client side, and form full lobbies of only controller players, and in case it was deactivated would form a full lobby of keyboard and mouse players, if a player wanted to have a faster matchmaking, was in a squad with a different hardware it would create or join a mixed lobby.
This way players could choose where they would play, and keep a even playing field across all forms of input. Of course the lobby times would increase a bit, but in my personal opinion the matchmaking is really fast, and i wouldn't care to wait for 1 or 2 more minutes for a completly even lobby.
In regards to the increased amount of cheaters I don't have a real solution besides improving the anti-cheat program other then maybe implement a kind of self govern system. For example like the one currently implemented on Counter-Strike:Global Offensive, however to be able to participate on this system the player had to have 2 factor autentication, meaning they must have a secure and singular account linked to either a cellphone or similar to participate, and must achieve a pre-determined ranking on competitive, as to not mistaken a good player from an cheater.
You can even use the above system as a second triage after the anti-cheat system, so as to the only reported cases flagged by majority as cheating would be up for review from an official team capable of issuing bans.
Best regards,
A Concerned Player

There is no point removing it if crossplay is coming out it skillbased matches aswel so people who complain about aim assist just try and not give up I play keyboard and mouse and killed loads of controller playsers just practice instead of complaing and aim assist is alot harder on predetor so stop and practice u will get better one day
