I have to agree that apex is becoming more and more a "oh f*** am not gonna submit myself to it no matter how much i like the core game" situation.
I retired myself from apex back in S2 because i was just not going to deal with terrible server conection and no hitreg in most of the games and so i took a long break returning in s5.
It was good( in the last 20 days) i got "unrusted" and solo qeued( my friend have all left apex for many reasons such as bad server, terrible audio, terrible solo experience) to gold I while having multiple kills, assists and pretty intense games).
That said season 6 turned this game into a self inflicted torture, this past week i had many days that my mind set was "let's go apex, get them ranks" only to boot it up, solo qeue and instatly regret it.
Dying to ppl sitting right beside you that produce no sounds,( the last couple of days) hit reg is non existen in so many gunfights. The TTK is faster and i don't mind it(am pretty onboard with it) i don't even mind less ammount of shields as long as you can heal faster.
Placing loads of damage on a player for someone else to give the first shot , many times not even being awarded an assit beouse the player healed.
Panicking mouse movements with bolt or devo resulting in almost instant death.Stick all this together with people that sometimes for the life of me i cant understand what they are doing, how are the in my skill bracket or my loby for starters, and you get a recipe for frustration , infuration and the realization that as much as i like this game there are litteraly thousands of alternatives.
Even Ranked has become a bs situation where everyon wants to land hot and just go go go before the 3 have basic gear to fight(shield, ammo, guns at least) resulting in the death of a squad meneber making the game even harder than it needs to be
Atm i will finishi my BP asap and probably put down apex (again), i really wanted to get better at apex( and i am much batter) other than that its just not rewardingn enough. The truth is everyday it gets lesss appealing to get into apex as a solo and even harde to have longer sessions as frustration starts to creep up.
P.S. Team wise solo mode is not the awnser , i trully believe that 2 of the most positive sides of apex are the different legends( this would also be very hard to balance in a solo mode they were never designed with that in mind) and the teamplay necessary to win a game, this comes atached with peoples mentality toward this. As a solo "qeuer" i can safly say that some days are mentaly exausting not to blowup on comms due to the lack of awareness and idiotic moves player do in search of 1 kill, this is a direct consequence of the state of the game.
Losing multiple games knowing you did everything you could , did minimum ammount of erros and still got wiped in the blink of an eye due to something out of your control is really hard.
P.S.S Sorry this is becoming a huge post , there should be lobbies for premades and lobbies for randoms, this would also solve a huge ammount of issues, sbmm wouldn't play as much of a role becouse no matter how good you are you cant wipe a a team that has 20% funtional teamwork. And with this the players mentality going into a game would be very different. Maybe this could happen only in ranked i dunno, and pubs remaining FFA.
Some sort of clan system would be nice too, a place wher you knew you could find a group of people that are willing to "random" at first but with time they becoma BIG team of multiple small squads.

@Deni_Demolish I’m an incredibly high level player so take this with a grain of salt, but I actually really enjoy carrying randoms to wins, pushing full squads alone and killing everyone in my path. It’s not something most people can do but when you put the time in and get good enough you’ll realize that killing three stacks by yourself even in trios or duos can be very very fun.

@Deni_DemolishSo long posts short you're basically asking why we can't have a "no fill" option right? I completely agree with that. I'm not to sure with how it would work game wise tho. I guess the game would launch at 30 "teams" but there could essentially be as little as 30 players.....actually scratch that idk why it couldn't work. Like you guys have said there's loads of games that allow it. From the viewpoint of competing with other BRs. Fortnite, Hyperscape and Warzone all do it whether they tackle it with an auto fill toggle or a standalone solo mode. It's about time Apex got on board.
