Based on my experience...
Respawn devs has no f-in idea, what the hell are they doing... They buff or nerf legends based on "win rates" which are well... Questionable. More than tripling values after 1.5 years... Nerfing to ground, while others get buffed again and again.
Not to mention a clearly unbalanced weapon, and doing nothing with it.
Outsourcing catching cheaters to a useless service...
Leaving tech support to users to help each other, and rewarding them with useless levels and badges...
One thing that's going for them now. And that is creating useless overpriced cosmetics...
This is not the Apex we love. This is a wall of shame now... I hope, some EA community whoever shows these board to devs...

Why did this discussion turn so black and white? Like I said in my first post, I am fairly sure that Respawn uses both quantitative and qualitative methods in their balancing efforts. So I dont disagree that win and kill rate, out of any context, never should be the ONLY data they should use to balance the game, and I dont think Ive ever said something like that. All I said was that I think that collecting ALL hard quantitative data, together with qualitative analysis, always is a , much more better general method to balance a game than to go by what people are complaining about on forums, thats all.
I dont disagree about the Mastiffs the current OP:ness, and sometimes I also question Respawns general lack of ability to balance the game. I am thinking about when they released the Disruptor rounds to the Alternator and you could literally melt a full purple armor in 4 shots and even worse; when they first released the Charge rifle. But I also know it takes them a while to actually change an unbalanced weapon. They dont release patches all the time but seem to to most balancing changes 1-2 times per season. So hopefully they will do something about the Mastiff next big patch.

I don’t really see it as complaining, you have to post your criticism to have any chance at the issue being changed, like if we never said a single thing about the servers 10 seasons from now we would be using the same terrible slow mo servers so I don’t see it as crying I just see it as a way to bring attention to an issue so that it can be resolved
i also don’t believe Caustic, Gibraltar, or Revenant are bad legends that need buffed because I lose 1 v 1’s against them all the time (Revenant not as much)
Caustic has always been a strong legend even when I used him in season 1-2 he was one of the legends I played the most because he was great for a casual gamer who was fairly new to the game and needed a crutch to win gun fights
Revenant’s ultimate can be very strong if you have randoms with decent gun skills, His tactical also has the potential to be good if used correctly so a caustic, fuse or another offensive legend can’t use an ability to attack, a mobility legend won’t be able to flee a fight, gibralter won’t have his gunshield, etc but I would like for revenant’s passive to be buffed so he could climb 3-4 floors max and the climbing speed should be quicker since horizon can do the same thing in like 2 seconds
I almost always lose a 1 v 1 against a Gibraltar... its mainly because of his gunshield but they said they were adding ‘’bleed through’’ to his gunshield soon but I don’t fully know what that means, I love playing Gibralter and he is a ton better than what he was back in season 1-3 to the point I don’t even think he needs fortified anymore he is just that good...
