@VhaleiI can try a clutch heal while walking away, or I can try a clutch heal while bhopping which is more difficult than just walking away but offers more advantage if I get it right. -The game involving this had a higher skill cieling. There was more to learn, more situations to use it in or not, more variety in how people played (I use a controller with toggle crouch, bhopping was never going to be a strong part of my playing).
You make it sound as though bunnyhopping made people invincible so they could heal infront of someone spamming them with a spitfire.
The risk/reward considerations still existed with bhopping, it didn't take any of that away. What you've said the effect of bhopping was is categorically untrue :S People got shot and killed whilst bunnyhopping.
[edit] - you are right though, I absolutely 100% do not see your point :S

@VhaleiIt adds to gameplay, as it has in other FPS games since time began. The discussion is around whether apex embrace it like quake did with strafejumping or not and why. You saying it's an exploit and should be bannable etc is a red herring to the discussion at hand.
Innumerable games have embraced bunnyhopping as it adds to the game, or in the case of Quake, Tribes and other competitive FPS games - defines the gameplay. It's more difficult to do than just pressing heal and walking, or sliding or anything else that is passive rather than active. So it's another skill to master the use of, thus making playing the game slightly more complicated and varied.
When you talk about risk/reward of healing or not, that mechanism is still there and any consideration of disabling your weapons to get armor or shields is always a consideration of risk/reward.

@VhaleiYou're comparing apples and oranges, unless your ONLY consideration for any games mechanics extends to "was this intended", in which case I can do nothing for you :S at least 50% of competitive FPS meta has been defined by stretching the engine and learning what it does. That's what good players do.
The question to ask is "does this ONLY provide an advantage to the person behind one specific rock in the game?" - no.. So it has absolutely nothing in common with what you're talking about. It expands on the style of play available to EVERYONE.

@Anlbrdit is a bug exploit. It always was, and always will be, and anyone who intentionally exploits it should be banned the same as any other intentional bug exploitation.
I'm happy your not in control of the banhamer then.
There would only be a handfull of lost player left in apex legends :P
Becouse there are a TON of exploids being abused even without you knowing you could be doing some yourself!
Bugs and exploids being used by players is achieved without cheats and 3rd party software.
So they would ban people for their own mistakes if they start going this road.
If we would remove all unintentional good stuff in this world. We would lose A LOT!
There are just a lot of people that think like a winner and use what they got to the fullest.
Over complaining what they can't do.
Bhop was just a harder to learn.
So all the people with the skillset of a goldfish start complaining becouse they can't do it. Or are to lazy to learn it.
And respawn gave them what they wanted.
Games these days are getting more and more casual.
Becouse harcore gaming does not fit in the everybody is a winner way of thinking we have now in 2019.

On one hand I see people who are casual and happy it got removed, on other hand I see hardcore fans of this game who are against it... well I am glad they removed it, it just shows the bias of the company towards casual play, which means I am not going to give this company any of my money anymore nor am going to support it in any other way... the constant support of casuals is disgusting. If you are a HC longtime player you dont get anything ever, even the challenges they made the last patch are so easy and simple I was crying with laughter when they released them. Its like hey casuals have free skins because we are too scared to really challenge players. The only good badge really is the 20 kill one the rest of them are so easy to do. Respawn is petting their casual players saying its going to be okay, we will protect you from those bad pro players who want challenges, here have a peacekeeper buff +50 percent damage

You don't need a macro to bhop, just 5 minutes of practise and a yt vid explaining how..
Guess people rather whined about it than take these 5 minutes to learn it and the game got dumbed down for it..
