Cross platform and map voting system

Right now they can't add map voting/rotation because that would greatly devide the player base and as a result you would have to wait more time to enter a match, This is where cross platform comes in handy, If they implement cross platform between consoles then the players base would increase by a big amount and then there would be no problem adding map selector or voting system, same goes for game modes like solos and even pre made squads going against other ones. Just make sure it's not cross platform with PC or at least give us the option to disable that.

@SERPENT_DESCEND I agree with cross platform to add more players Ive mentioned this myself, however map voting would not divide the player base if they did it a certain way which is all 60 players vote for a map before the character select screen, then whichever map has the highest vote would be the map everyone plays for that round, this would not divide the playerbase as it would be the same 60 people regardless of whatever map is chosen

@FaIIenAngeI777 Yes that right but I think many people would leave if they don't get to play the map they voted for, Maybe don't let them vote for the next match as a punishment?

Take away the map voting system and do it this way - - -

Worlds edge + King's canyon + King's canyon night mode.... When you select your character the game gives you 1 of the 3 maps to play you don't get the choice. That way the player base will use all 3 maps and that way its just the luck on what one you get at that given game

@SERPENT_DESCENDThere is a difference between map voting and map selection, when you vote you don’t always get your way... the person with the highest ammounts of votes wins think of it as an election for president just because you vote for someone dosnt make them the president, map voting is the more popular option in most games that ive ever played, majority rules and you don’t always get your way but i love all of the apex maps so far I can only really think of about 5 options 

original kings canyon, kings canyon after the bridge are destroyed and with labs/ octanes area, kings canyon night, original worlds edge, and christmas worlds edge, they could add a night mode for worlds edge but we probally won’t see that until Halloween im assuming

Map selection on the other hand is guarenteed for your choice every single game, map selection would split the queue playerbase for longer queue times while map voting will not affect anything

@mikachu123 Honestly idc if you vote or if its entirely random, all i care about is that it shows you what map you are playing before you choose your characters so you know which legends you want

For instance caustic is great in kings canyon for bunker or labs but not as much for worlds edge so it would be nice to know the map beforehand
