I play on Xbox but recently got a PC and naturally want to start Apex playing on it. I love this game however I've found it annoying not being able to carry over anything at all from my 280 hours on Xbox where I've spent over $200 on cosmetics including exclusive event skins and accumulated over 3000 kills. This issue leaves me less motivated to play the game on PC and quite naturally after playing some different games on PC the motivation to return to console is even less. I can understand why some would argue against the sharing of stats across platforms however at the very least I would love to see my cosmetics from Xbox be accessible on PC in the future.

Whatever content was purchased on one platform should be accessible on another, it is the same game.

I agree all cosmetics should available on each platform probally another one of EA’s greedy ways to make you pay them twice ._.

Was thinking same.. I have pc now, and spent fortunes on cosmetics.. now I’ve played it on pc there just no way I would turn the Xbox back on and play apex on it.. so slow.. I have heard that ea is being added to steam, so does that mean your progress from apex on Xbox which runs on ea servers be available on pc, or does that just mean I can play with people on different platforms

Give us what we have waited and paid for. There are no valid excuses. Over a year has been wasted with no updates. You have had the time, and the money. I want my Wraith back...

The official response of “sorry, it’s undoable” is extremely infuriating and unacceptable, especially because they don’t openly disclose the lack of cross progression to begin with. After spending almost a thousand dollars and finding out they’re not even trying to fix the cross progression problem, I’ve lost a lot of respect for the developers. I will no longer be defending them and trying to support them since the biggest issues go ignored. I see the queue times getting longer and longer even in NYC servers and I am not surprised.
edit: I would like to add that the lack of cross progression is THE BEST way to retain nothing but your free-to-play players and completely isolate the players that choose to spend large amounts of money on the game. Many of us will switch platforms when the next gen consoles are released. I hope they’re planning on a huge decrease in revenue during that time because it’s sure to happen.

It would put them in a better position to do cross progress against fortnite.

@M1K3Y07KOPYou might have already gotten the answer but there is cross-progression between Origin and Steam. Cross-progression is easier to do on PC, with consoles all the purchases go through the platform's payment system, and the console manufacturer makes money from there. These companies are resistant to letting players buy in-game items from their competitors and use them on their own platform. The only reason Microsoft allowed it was because it made Sony look bad and then Sony caved and allowed it on their platform too. However, it still needs to be done on a per-game basis and if there wasn't any mention of this on the contract between Respawn and Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo it simply won't happen or it will have that strange Fortnite situation where only certain platforms play nice with others.
