- When the enemy is dominating the middle objective, and you sneak around to capture the controlpoint near the enemy base, nobody can even spawn there. For me this takes away all of the tactical point of this gamemode. I understand the goal is probably to avoid spawnkilling, but then at least wait to block the spawn near enemy base untill the middle point is controlled as well. Capturing the point when nobody of your team is able to spawn there to come help defend it, or squeeze the enemy in the middle, means the enemy can take it back very easily and you are back to the same situation as before, wasting valuable minutes for no significant influence on the game.
- Games sometimes feel a bit short for me, but i guess it's because the stats don't count right?
- Control is disappointing. As much as i was looking forward to it, and really hoping this gamemode would finally give us an alternative way of enjoying the game and release us of the relentlessness SBMM that has been tormenting many of us 'solo above average player's.
A gamemode with 2 teams is perfect for creating actual random lobbies, where the first 18 people who want to play control get throw into the pot. Preds and noobs together, whoever lines up. You devide them in equal teams so the best ones are not in the same team and everyone still has a 50% of winning. There is absolutely no reason to fill every game up with preds, masters predators and 4k/20kill heroes. I mean, whyyyyyy???? A real shame they chose to go this way so i doubt i'll be investing more time in this gamemode, or Apex at all tbh. After so many seasons of torment, i'm absolutely sick of this ****.

The skill differential is a big problem, but I'll add one more:
Why are enemy players allowed in the opposing team's designated spawn point? Spawnkilling is already bad without that, but now apparently, when being dominated, enemy players can sit right behind where we spawn and kill us at leisure. So basically, once one team gets control, the other might as well just quit the game then and there. It immediately becomes futile and unfun once they get into that position. I've only played a couple matches, and likely will not play anymore now, simply because of this. Change it.
EDIT: I really wanted this game mode to be good, as it was a fresh approach to an already fun game, and really wanted a game mode where I could simply respawn and keep going. But this one aspect simply kills it for me, and others. There's no fun to be had when enemy players are allowed to 'farm' from any angle in what should be our one relatively safe spawn area.

That's right, i forgot. The spawnpoints in your 'base' are often closer or the same distance to B, as spawning on A. What's with that? Doesn't make much sense.

Hello.
This new time mode Control feels great, I love it but could you please bring back mini map in that mode? Currently without mini map:
1. You cannot tell where are your teammates. You can see their names on screen, but you don't know how far they are. This is killing teamplay. Especially if someone is heavy realying on it for possitioning.
2. You don't know where to go. You can see point markers, but you cannot tell which one is closer.
3. Without mini map you have to keep point markers on screen all the time. This could be moved to mini map.
4. If you hear footsteps, you can't fast tell if it is an enemy or you teammate as it is hard to tell where are your teammates (from own and other squads).
Can you please add mini map to this great mode? It would help a lot. Without it, there is too much chaos going on.

So I just spent my evening playing the new Control event.
I must say, I enjoyed it a lot. But there were a few places I would like to request some small tweaks.
- Although we were playing 9v9, it felt like it was just me and my two squadmates in the middle of all the chaos.
There wasn't really a sense of having 6 more teammates to help out. I think it would help a lot if there were the ability
to communicate with the other squadmates, see their loadouts, their health, and their position etc. I understand voice chat
could get pretty crazy with 9 people all making callouts (might be worth a try though?), but what about pings and text chat?
I think that would really help the 9 member team's cohesiveness and make the game a lot more strategical and fun.
It will feel like you're actually working together with those other 6 players.
- Somewhat related, it would be nice to be able to queue in with friends and have a 9 stack team all chatting on
discord or something.
- I think instead of the auto heal the way we had in that other ltm a while back, offering infinite cells/bats the way the syringes/medkits
are would be nice. It would give you the ability to heal when you want rather than wait behind cover for the autoheal to kick in, while also
making it take more skill, because you'll have to find safe place that you can pop off a battery or whatever you need.
- Please add the minimap into control mode. It seems to be missing and makes analysing where your other teammates (as well as your own
3-man squad) are very difficult. Just adding this will help bring the chaos under control a lot and improve team cohesiveness.
- Too many Krabers. It seemed like every game, multiple people had Krabers. My friend who I was playing with literally grabbed one every
single game we played. Try turning down the spawn rate of Krabers in the care pack for Control mode.
- I'm not sure I like the preset loadouts. Its fun in the occasional ltm, but (I assume and hope that) this is going to eventually lead to a permanent
mode and I personally would prefer something more like the buy phase system in Arenas.
- Matchmaking seems to be kind of unhealthy like with the rest of Apex modes
Other than that, the mode was incredibly fun and I enjoyed it immensely. I would very much love to see it as a permanent mode in the future!

Matchmaking will probably never be improved, so that's just going to be another hard pill to swallow for this game mode as well.
Respawn times should be instant at home base:
Give the screen to change character/loadouts, but if you select your home base there is not timer, you just spawn in. For obvious reasons you wouldn't want this feature at capture points.
Fix locations of Supply Drops:
Some I've seen aren't too bad, but some are just out of the way and slow down the pace IMO. Bring those bad boys into the playing field more!!!
Increase Loadouts:
5 loadout options is just stale and boring. Expand it to 10 and let us have fun playing the game with guns we like.
Add more movement gimmicks:
Indestructible jump pads, air lifts, catapults, cannons we shoot out of, something!

First of all, the mode is actually fun, great to have a mode where you can just fight endlessly. Only thing before if you wanted that experience was to go to firing range with a buddy if you wanted to aim train extensively against realistic targets. Apex gunplay is fun and it's awesome to see it accessible in a longer mode vs single lives that can end with dumb mistakes.
I do have suggestions though:
1. Several loadouts are odd, why would I want to run wingman longbow or p2020 charge rifle? I'm sure most players would agree they just want their 301/flatline/smg/wingman/shotgun combo of choice. The sightlines are quite wide on the current maps and having snipers in several kits can encourage some players to sit in spawn with triple takes the whole game.
2. The care packages are cool BUT you have to go out of your way for them in places you would normally never go to. Normally I don't get these unless they're in my pathing from spawn to the objective. I think that Respawn should just place all of these in the main conflict areas. The enemy team is rarely going to try to contest the same package as you (simply because of package placement being on one side of the map) so it might as well be closer to the fight.
3. The maps aren't as good as they could be because it's just a slice from the actual br maps. I get why they do it (because they can just load from the main br maps, they used to do that with some arenas maps to save space and time developing) but they aren't balanced for the mode. On Olympus it's almost all conflict at the middle B building (and teams can just camp the doors) and on storm point it's needlessly wide and awkward on low ground. One solution is that the maps should have plenty of of jump pads around. I've noticed that both teams tend to share jump pads placed by octanes from both sides and don't break them because it's just so much more fun that way.
4. Gameplay flow feels awkward at times, you often have to walk quite a bit to get to a fight/go walk to a faraway trident, preset jump pads would help a lot with this (and they're way more fun than zips!)
5. Fast heal would be nice. Med kits could even be removed if fast heal was added. Winter Express did healing right for an objective based mode, where you had to quickly make a decision whether to get more fast heals off or take fights.
Thanks for reading! I hope other people share their experiences too. Control is a great mode, with some changes I think it could be perfect.

Game was super short and we couldn't recapture any of the points, they just kept spawn killing us over and over again. Much fun
