As the article says, "To maintain competitive integrity, all controller players will be competing using PC-value aim assist settings, regardless of their platform."
However console version of the game is currently capped at 60fps.
To summarize,
The pre-season qualifiers for the next ALGS will be held in September 2021, but the next-gen version of the game (which I anticipate the frame rate could reach 120fps) has not been announced yet.
How would EA or Respawn mitigate the unfairness between console players and PC players in terms of frame rate?

@E9ine_AC Although you are not the person capable to answer my queries, thank you for your reply anyways.
However you've missed the point of my argument.
1. PC players have no options to turn crossplay off.
Actually, you can! Try using the following function in your autoexec or Launch options:
crossplay_user_optin "0"
But beware, when you launch the game with this your Steam/Origin friends will become invisible. It's because the game separates players with crossplay enabled and those with crossplay disabled.
2. If they wish to have their advantages console lobbies may be for them.
I am NOT asking EA or Respawn to provide console players with extra advantage over PC players.
I am asking for fairness in the upcoming ALGS crossplay tournaments between PC controller players and console controller players.
3. "But when entering our lobbies we should not make any changes to cater to console users inside our platform lobbies."
To mention once again, I am NOT asking EA or Respawn to provide console players with extra advantages over PC players.
I am totally fine with the decision by Respawn on the current aim-assist value. I am talking about the frame rate disadvantage that suffered by crossplay tournament participants who compete on console.

Anyone from EA can answer this please?

Oh hey, random observation as of the most recent patch the behavior you described -
"But beware, when you launch the game with this your Steam/Origin friends will become invisible. It's because the game separates players with crossplay enabled and those with crossplay disabled."
If you have another friend try launching the game also with PC Only / crossplay disabled, you are able to invite them to your party but it will not let you join successfully. This was only tried with both of us using steam, in an autoexec file and/or launch options. We didn't bother trying with Origin.
Also, it seems doing this removed me from my club - which was created by a console player, so that tracks logically, despite being unexpected.
Just thought I'd add some observations and notes in case anyone else stumbles across this post looking for a workable solution. AFAIK unless you only want to play solo forever, there is not currently a method that allows PC players to turn off crossplay.
