I had an idea for a character. It being a shooter game it might be weird, but how about a melee based character.
At the moment the number of light characters (increased incoming damage by 5%) are 4 on total and of the heavies (reduced incoming by 15%) 2.
I would like to see another heavy added to balance the light characters in the form of a close range heavy melee.
Lets talk abilities. This is a gun game so he'd need a little mobility. Their passive would be the stronger melee attacks.
A tactical skill could be a long range jump to help close distances and maybe have a synergistic effect to add a small percentage of damage to melee if used together.
I havent had much thought of an ultimate yet.
My issue is that people flock to buildings for cover and a lot of battles happen in buildings and around them. A dangerous up close character would push the battle outside so you could keep distance from them.
