Unless apex goes back I was thinking the same thing once cod comes out I’m done with apex unless they get their * back together. Season three sucks. and the only come back the people who do like it can come up with is calling people “cry babies” very creative insult 😏

@MoNosDirtyGamingTotally agree unfortunately. The last 3 games I've dropped it took my about 4-6 rooms to get a gun. The loot seems like it's all over the place in a negative way. All I find is six optics and 2 stacks of energy ammo in a room. Sometimes it takes me like 3 buildings to even find a gun.
Also I haven't really experienced a fight with a 1 squad only. We are constantly being 3rd partied by another squad. Looks like everyone on the map is on the same place. Even if you drop far you're always being tird partied. Even though the map is bigger, people go to the same places because this map is empty as hell. Zero cover, zero really fun places to drop. Which results in a big clusterfck of everyone being in the same place or at least main spots. Where you had a chance to sneak in on enemies in a town you're now basically coming from empty wasteland being a nice target for the new charge rifle or longbow.
I see where they were going with the meta and map changes but points out that, while it might be fun for new players, for old players it's nothing but an empty wasteland with a hard time of getting proper loot. Before you manage to get some loot you are already being pushed up by the zone or run across players which is just a battle of the titans (titans of bad loot that is)

@tronic1987Except with the R99 you HAD TO control the recoil, so it required skill, you also couldn't spray it from a long distance unless you had aimbot, which is why it was balanced, they also put the r301 in a position where it would beat the R99 at times, which is why both guns were balanced, this season the pulse rifle has 0 recoil, 0 bullet drop, can kill someone in 2 hits, takes 0 skill to use, and it's absolutely a nightmare to go up against, nothing can really combat it from long range if they've got their attention on you, you can't snipe against that person because they end up destroying you, even if your heads popped out a little, or even if you try to get closer to them because most of the time they are just sit on a heightened position.
If you aren't in high skill lobbies you won't see that much, me being with 11k+ kills i'm always in lobbies with sweats, so now you know my predicament.

@uri_urbanMe and my girlfriend used to play everyday, now it's just too boring to even want to think about, long range engagements.. meh, flatline/r301/r99 for 124 days of this season.. boring.

I agree completely. I absolutely loved Seasons 1 and 2. Say what you will about Kings Landing, it suited the mechanics of the game brilliantly - It was clearly well thought out to take advantage of this and made for a lot of exciting, creative and free flowing fight scenarios. Most importantly it was actually fun to play. I have tried playing this new map and I get bored after 3 or 4 games regardless of were my team finishes. There is far less room for creative play IMO.
I like the idea of Crypto but I think he encourages pairing up with a defensive hero and camping in a building - . I can't help but think Crypto in Kings Canyon would be more a balanced hero than he is right now. Part of the genius of the game in the past two seasons is that it always felt like the team attacking had an advantage in most fights. I loved how much the game encouraged you to get up, be aggressive and force the fight. But now the offensive Bloodhound is pretty useless and defensive hero's feel better and that's really not the style of game I want to play or that attracted me to the game in the first place.
I really hope Kings Canyon is added back in soon with the option to choose which map you want to play. Otherwise I honestly can't see my self playing much longer, which would be a shame because prior to season 3, this is the most fun I've had with a game in a long time. I really think this Season has gone against what the game has done so well in the past.
So far for me this game peaked in Season 2. Season 3 is just not much fun.
Any thoughts?
