Whilst Respawn did a good job getting rid of hackers, they are still rampant in Asia. They've somehow gotten past the hardware ban. They just straight up have gibberish names like sdsdsfsf or bvjvjvjj123. I think Prime Queue is a step in the right direction, if not, the best step.
Prime Queue is basically Prime Matchmaking in CS: GO.
- To have a level requirement (I'd say 40-50 is good)
- A Phone number linked to your account
- Maybe even battle pass owners, but that's a stretch instead of having a cellphone number linked.
Users with Prime Status are matchmade with and against only other Prime Status users in all game modes.
With 3,000 hours in CS:GO, it works like a charm. Maybe I'd come across a hacker/smurfer after every 10 or so games.
There is really no way to keep hackers out completely, but it would really help whittle them down. A hacker can keep hacking, but it would be really tedious to try and access the Prime Queue all over again.
Every time they get banned, they need to achieve the level to access Prime Queues again and link a new number to their account. I doubt they would constantly keep buying sim cards just for this since they are lazy enough to play a damn game properly.
Hope you read this literally anyone in RESPAWN/EA.
