Dunno if you've ever heard of freedom of speech?
They don't apply to private platform.
And you already agree with term and condition before you proceed to use their services.

@DrSeptimus Large internet corporations are increasingly limiting freedom of speech. Just look here at AHQ or facebook, twitter ect.. It doesn't matter if it's a private company or country, censorship should not be accepted in any form unless it's illegal or to protect minors as anything else sets a very dangerous precedent.
YOU being held to the same laws as publishers, YOUR content or personal views expressed online means you could have zero online presence in the future for saying something that may well be legal but doesn't conform to ''community standards'' and when any private entity can set those standards even if the community disagrees with them then what are you left with?

@apostolateofDOOMThey only need to comply with the community where their HQ at. They are not in obligation to cater to every community standard, even if it limiting your speech.
Still, they got a term & condition you need to adhere to before you proceed to use their service. Why even agree at first place if you cannot comply with their term?

@DrSeptimusExcept for the things i mentioned earlier, freedom of speech is a god given right that should be non negotiable to any and all within the confines of the law. Private companies should especially be upholding this just as the law protects where their HQ is located, instead of a few executives making the rules leading to overbearing, potentially biased moderation and censorship for access into foreign markets where the rights and values you and i may hold dear get watered down and become the norm for us and future generations.
This problem isn't just limited to EA or social media but our entire online presence which is why more should be vocal on this.. Luckily, some places are discussing putting into law protections for speech against private companies but if this isn't done quickly (never is) the opposition might not have their voices heard.
They can also revise and start to enforce these terms at any given time and at their discretion but judging by your answer, i think you're clearly missing the point..

Hey folks,
This isn't really an appropriate conversation for Answers HQ. We can't investigate account bans here. It's up to the Terms of Service team to decide if the ban can be overturned. I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread.
If your account has been banned for any reason please get in touch with the Terms of Service team so they can take a look. I'd also encourage everyone to review the Answers HQ Rules & Guidelines when you have the chance.
Thanks.
