Would it possible to ever get an an option to select auto ammo collect.
When I have two guns equipped it can be very annoying to continually have to stop to grab certain ammo that matches my guns. After a while especially in busy places this can cause you to get killed also. An option to auto pick up matching ammo to equipped weapons would allow for a slightly faster pace game and also help manage ammo reserves far better.
To often do I run past ammo just to find out half a clip later I have no reserves. A simple feature but one I think could really improve the experience for less veteran Br players

That probably wont happen. I don't know of any BR that has auto ammo pickup. That would also prolly not be good since your backpack space is limited. It's good to learn what ammo packs goes with what guns and they are super easy to identify by color when you find them.

Fortnite has it.

This is also one of the only BR games that requires half a clip to kill people at any range where your nearly maxed on what you can carry after picking up 3 packs of the correct weapon type.
Its not a negative feature as I see it and one many players would welcome in the long run.
It would also help new players who find micromanagment in BR games a huge issue. Why do you think fortnite is so popular

The ammo carrying more like pubg than fortnite i.e. it takes pack space. Auto ammo could get quite annoying in brs that aren't fortnite

I see pros and Con to this:
Pros:
- Very convenient to pick up the ammo that you need. No need to search through what guns you already have
- Can make gameplay faster where you just run through a building picking up the ammo that you need without having to stop.
- Ammo will need to be fully stack able (I have only played this game a few hours and if I saw this correctly, ammo was only stackable up to a certain point then it would take up another inventory slot)
Con :
- Will be harder to coordinate with teammates on ammo levels. If you automatically pick up the ammo, it might be easy to forget a teammate needs it more then you. You also might not be able to get a chance to ping the ammo for someone else. By the time you are close enough to know what it is, the ammo is already in your inventory slot.
- Your inventory slots could go away faster. (See 3rd point in pro case). Since the ammo is only stackable to a point, then if you have auto pick up, you might automatically use up another inventory slot when you didn't want to.
Edit:
Some how, the word con is censored? IDK. Also as another point, PUBG Mobile implements auto pickup.

They can add features in there settings where you can adjust how much ammo to auto pick up and only for the current primary and secondary weapon in hands kind of like how Pubg did it in mobile version.

One con I dont agree with is coordinating with team mates. Unless you go in a 3 man squad this never happens. In all my games I think I have had one person actually drop ammo when requested.
In regard to the second con. A setting to set max auto pick up slots. Aka you can pick up settings to set auto pick up to fill 2 slots per ammo type. I believe pubg mobile has a similar auto pick up function and I also believe other mobile BR have this so its not an impossible feature to add.
Dont get me wrong I know its a lot of work and I know its on a long list of stuff we could do with but might never get.. But I do believe that adding features that improve gameplay even if a small amount i s the difference between a good game and a great game
