Hey before I can say just do it...
I have to admit my knowledge about AMD / Radeon systems is not so great.
But I have found out that some AMD / Radeon systems are unstable at times.
When I disabled my int. GPU it stayed off... making me think that your system might depend on it...
Since your system is (Microsoft Graphics Hybrid: Supported) both GPUs should work as one...
But some / a lot AMD / Radeon rigs have random issues occurring like the one you stated.

The first link should help you. Possible fixes:

An easy way to update your Pc is Driver Booster as I have been told but I can't guarantee it works.
If you read this one it actually all makes sense Microsoft has a lot of problems with AMD's architecture since win7
If you want it off first disable it then uninstall drivers after that use CCleaner to clean up your registry.
Well, you can still do a fresh install of your OS with updated drivers but if that won't work I don't think I can help.
(forgot to mention that you better set your other GPU as primary or you will have a black screen^^)

Hate to say it my friend, but if you can't disable it without the screen getting weird malfunctions...
It will be due to your systems architecture your laptop as it seems needs both GPUs since they share memory.
Last chances are:
Hardware check:
Enter this in your Run:
%systemroot%\system32\msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic
Reinstall Apex:
If this is the only affected application then it may be corrupted software (a fault in the installation) or system settings that destabilize each other.
Reinstall OS:
At this point, if it does not work then it's a widespread software corruption more then one application will most likely be affected negatively so you won't come around a fresh install.
Should be fixed then since an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION mostly come due to corrupted software somewhere in your system.
