@XHelperZi would like to know how many players below diamond rank they will loose up until monday.
Master and Pred Players will like it, cheap RP while farming low tier players until monday, tonight all the US Boys will play Euro to profit from that.

I dont think they will lose many players permanently because of this blunder but I do however, for the sake of the competitive integrity, should actually restart this split. This is actually huge because think of all current preds and master trios this split who literally farmed thousands of RPs by stomping bronze players for days. Think what a headstart they have on players who get to master a bit in to the split.

@NerfMyAimPlzyou know why they took europe for the test ? Simply bcs every euro country has its own language, most people wouldnt have taken their frustration and channeled it with one language on twitter ect. , the "excrement storm" in the US would have been tenfold in comparison.
For instance : Who would have given a dime on complaints from russian players with the political situation in mind ? Would have popular euro streamers translated the french, german, spanish, italian, swedish ect. complaints and amplified them ? I guess not ... most of the popular content creatores didnt pick up on the matter.
But we are drifting away from the original topic, i get why people are upset getting matched with other players having a different "rank". Respawn did a lot in selling this as a sign of skill which it isnt. You cant really tell upon a badge if that player got carried to that rank or if the player simply took his time off the rank system only to come back with an unfitting badge for his skill (because of the derank, which doesnt lower your players skill all of a sudden ...).
This is the reason why they tilted on me,if the game would have told them my K/D or my infamous hidden MMR, they most likely would have been silent.
Make the badge reflect the players actual MMR, the divetrail or some other fancy extra can be given upon the rank points ...
Doesnt ther new system have quite some of those "buckets" now instead of the 4 it had up until now , you can name those buckets exactly like the ranks and tell in which bucket that player is in ... voila.
Why is repawn so afraidf of telling the players the actual number on which they are rated by ? Bcs it would be abused ? News-Flash :Players abusing all kinds of stuff in the game and respawn doesnt care. So why make a huge secret about the hidden MMR then ? If you dont know your MMR you cant complain if somethings off with it ...

Yeah its a bit funny that they only implemented this failed MM-system on EU. I guess most big and influential streamers play on NA. Or perhaps is EU just a bigger and therefore better test subject hehe.
I have no objections in general with having hidden elo nor that players in ranked are being matched more based on their hidden elo than their actual rank. This is normal in most, big competitive games out there. BUT the big mistake, which actually baffles my mind that Respawn dont understand, is that you also need get RP compensated by this. Example:
Lets say the "average" silver4 player has a hidden elo of 1000, the average silver3 player 1100, the average silver2 player 1200, the average silver1 player 1300 and Gold4 players 1400.
Lets say you currently is silver 4 but, based on how you play, achieved a hidden elo of 1360 since you stomped in Bronze. Then I see no problem that you are being matched in lobbies where the average ELO among the players is 13-1400, which would land you in high silver, low gold lobbies even if you are just low silver. But what the system need to do is to also give you MORE RPs than you would in a silver4 lobby until you reach the actual rank than corresponds to your hidden ELO.
League of legend uses this. If you have played it, you sometimes find yourself gaining like 20 RP when winning a match but only losing 5 RP if you lose. This is because you and your teams hidden ELO is lower than that of your enemies. But you also can be in a situation where you LOSE 20 RP when you lose but only gain 5 RP when you win and this is ofc because you play vs worse opponent based on your hidden elo. Same principles should be applied to Apex if they choose to go with this system.

@NerfMyAimPlzyea elo isnt the only number to take into account to make a "balanced" experience in Apex. You can have good mates not doing loads of dmg but supporting in a good way, those numbers are harder to track in some kind of ELO form.
But if they are in the process of testing stuff, i would propose matching mates roughly by MMR but focus on POI drop preference. it bet youre more likely to find a match which is competitive against stacks. people wanting to drop fragment east know what they are in for, and so are people dropping survey camp.
When forming teams shouldnt we look to find "common denominators" ?
you can even control the spread of teams on the map by giving that a certain weight, you simply avoid building those infamous hotdrop matches where 80% of the teams died before ring1 closed down.

@r1ggedgameI don't play ranked for this exact reason. You get put in lobbies you aren't ready for & then get harassed for being there. Yes, you can mute people, but it is too sweaty and too toxic for me. Being able to just quit to lobby in pubs
and not mess with any of that BS is fine for me.

@HappyHourSumwurhow would you know which lobbies im am ready for, do you know my hidden MMR ? Guess not, i was bronze 4 bcs i wanted to prove a point. I have no problem challenging people with the fancy badges, some of them are way less skilled than you think. But some people still believe the badge is some form of skill rating which it isnt, also it make near to no sense when i get put there with mates that cannot do any dmg but still insist dropping fragment east.
So lets have that hidden MMR shown to people please, i really cant understand why this will be such a thing and get exploited, works in other games too.
My point is not getting treated badly on voice in general, but the reason why it happend :the badge tells nothing about the actual skill a person has. Would they have been able to see my actual performance rating , it likely wouldnt have happend.
