Ammo can take up a lot of space in an inventory. I think ammo should have its own ammo slot (with the max hold amount of maybe 500).
Obviously ammo is crucial in a BR game, but I think ammo count should not be something we should "worry about" too much.
If ammo has its own slot (like the armor/knock shield/backpack slot), the inventory overall should be reduced by 2-4 to balance it out a bit; along with backpack pickups.
What do you guys think? Would this work?

Damn just a suggestion, that's why I said if ammo had its own slots, inventory space would be reduced my 2-4.
But I understand what you're saying. I never run out of ammo, but I do feel like keeping track of ammo in a fast paced BR game can be quite annoying.
But yes, I do agree it is fine how it is, again just a suggestion...

your reserve ammo is always shown on the bottom right hand corner of the screen. A stack of ammo is 80 rounds or 4 boxes.
So if you have 160 heavy ammo in reserve, then you have two stacks of ammo in your inventory.
The nice thing about this games design, is that the inventory system is dummy proof.
it automatically consolidates your ammo and health/sheild packs you don’t need to worry about inventory management as much (which is a very real problem in a game like pubg and blackout)
