@LTUApexI play with players similiar to you sometimes even 8-9k kills and get level 1-30 teammates frequently aswell... SBMM isn’t bad as the opponents usually arn’t crazy overpowerred and around my skill level but occasionally run into a premade with thousands of kills but thats only happens in 1-3 games a day but the teammates it gives you are normally new players... especially when I just won a game as the champion... if i get queued with 2 of them its usually better to drop solo or hotdrop on the party boat or train to see if you get eliminated and get it over with sometimes you survive and end up winning the game like last night XD but that was pure luck the other 2 squads just died somehow for a free win we didn’t hear anything so just went to the center of the ring and just looked around with snipers a few mins and won so I practically got a free win as kill leader badge lol
Some of these ‘’new players’’ have like 3-4 kills at level 34 and others are level 15 with 2-300 kills with 20 kill and 2-4k damage badges so are obviously smurfing or hacking... they really need to stop allowing the badges atleast until they are a certain level as most probally earn those in the first 1-5 games and honestly real new players shouldn’t have the skill to get those if they are new so shouldn’t be alllowed to earn them until like level 30-50

SBMM was implemented to bring back low skill players who were leaving the game because of technical impossibility to have a decent play and broken learning curve. And as much as I know, the returning player numbers talked for themselves - SBMM definitely was an amazing idea.
And yes, people like you playing in the same lobby with diamonds is much less of an F joke, than people with K/D 0.4 playing in the same lobby with you.

@ilya_lizardWhat they failed to realize is the ‘’increase of new players’’ was really thousands of players making smurf accounts, it seems once these new players win their first game they are getting put into higher lobbies as I see abunch of level 2s with 0 kills as the champion and its ruining the game for me having to babysit, im not entirely mad at playing with a new player aslong as I have someone else around my skill level or even better/worse than me but when you get 2 newer players that barely know how to move against 3 enemys your skill level it gets frustrating and your better off alone... it was never this bad before SBMM and after it this game is pure hell, I do agree SBMM is working to a point as Ive gotten more wins compared to season 1+2 but most of those wins came as a duo or solo rather than trio

@FaIIenAngeI777 Possible, but highly improbable. Multiple smurf accounts made by people meeting all of the following criteria - 1) High gold\Platum level of skill 2) loathing for a high K\D number as a primary goal of play 3) indecent. There is some amount of such people in the overall player population, but I doubt they are statistically significant.

@LTUApex Sorry, I must admit I didn't understand you well (long day at work) you, actually, meant why SBMM doesn't work as it should. Yes, sometimes it makes strange pairings, but my observations are, somehow, more optimistic - most of the time I get partners and enemies of my skill.
