I am not disagreeing, in fact I got no particular opinion either way.
I am just alerting you to the fact it's most likely intentional it takes quite a bit of effort to kill a downed player.
i.e. no "fix" will ever come.
What you ask for (and might very well happen or not) is a purposely different game play. Which is a much taller ask...

Again I gotta ask what kind of rebuttal is this? I got no beef with your opinion or lack of, but saying they wont change it because they thought it was a good idea before makes no sense, nerfs happen post launch for a reason. Nerfs are not a glitch fix they are to fix something that makes gameplay more fair or fun. Downed enemies should not take so much damage.

I didn't play other BR, so I can't make informed comment...
An important philosophical difference with other BR, as far as I can guess and I believe, is that it's a team game, you only lose a fight if the whole squad is down and you win if you put whole enemy squad down. From that perspective bring the team back up from the bring was meant to be easy.
But anyway, I am wondering why you care it's hard to kill a downed character. In fact a downed character is a better bait that a killed one. It's instant to get the character beacon but takes 10 seconds to revive a downed character.

I don't feel like it is super hard to kill knocked enemy. It's slightly harder when he got a shield but still - it is fine by me. You can always use finisher to end it up with style.
When will people understand it. This is BR, not DM, TDM or anything else. Main priority is not to kill, but to survive.

Whats with the arguments lol, its about having the game fun as possible and to me its more fun to actually get your kill without having to worry about a dozen other factors, if you put effort into downing someone you should be rewarded with a kill they already can be revived its not a big deal. You should not get a guy who gets to crawl away because if you punch him you risk getting shot up, if you shoot him you waste a entire 1-3 clips of bullets..what you guys argue for is not strat its for the game to be casual so people keep getting more chances even if taking a clip to die after take 1-2 clips to get downed which is fine just admit you wanna be casual and stop pretending its some epic strat to crawl around, or mentioning the game is about survival well duh, that literally doesn't negate anything thats been said loll

It's called making you work for it, I don't think it should change just because you want to be rewarded with a kill.
I've never had a problem "thirsting" someone, Don't empty the mag into the downed shield.

Not because I want too, because you factually earn it when you down them as in any other game its a kill. Its called making YOU as the downed player work to survive crawling or win the battle, you got your "work" argument mixed up.The game is far too generous with tanking damage its not my opinion its a empirical fact when measured against similar games and its not even close. I'm fine with the down feature infact I like it, and I like revives, and knock down shields, but it can be a bit much and should be better balanced. I have a feeling this is why solo play will blow up because some people wanting teams so casual.

So you got knocked down enemy in front of you, what can you do? Kill him! Yes, that's one option.
But, since there are 3 man teams, how about to try to lure his teammates when they are around, wait till they come to revive, then down/kill them too? That's also an option.
Let's say and you mentioned it as well, when you try to finish him, more different teams can come, because they heard shot and wanna joint the fight. So, before rushly trying to kill him, wait some time to make sure noone is near you and then spray your 2-3 mags into his lvl3 shield to kill him? That's also an option.
I realy don't want to touch anyone's feelings, it's just how I see it.
