It could just be me, but anecdotally my friends expressed the same feeling. Aiming at short-range (like 20-30 feet tops) feels wonky as hell. It's hard to explain but it almost feels like there is a "disconnect" between where I am aiming when I fire and where my shot goes. I've adapted to it a bit but it still doesn't feel good - or consistent. Has anyone had a similar experience? Disclaimer: I'm a fairly decent shot and very familiar with all FPS PC/ mouse settings.

Yes, I have the same issue. This isn't a lag issue, FPS issue, nor network issue. At least coming from my side of the fence. This game has a weird sluggish, or sway, type of feeling to it. Far range, it's a bit easier to work with. As things get closer, you can tell the difference. Get close to a wall, or something else that is close, and swing your camera back and fourth. It feels like I drank some alcohol because it has that sluggish rotation to it.
Question is, "Was this game made for 120Hz+ monitors?" 60hz monitors are becoming a thing of the past. If you own one, I think you are already at a major disadvantage with this game. I believe this game was built around 120hz+ monitors or higher. I can tell the difference at 60hz, because I own one, no questions asked.
There is a setting on BFV, where you can get rid of this issue. This type of camera swaying is referred as, "Bloom Effect." Now, this doesn't fix the pure fact that you own a 60hz monitor. Your shots are still 1/2 off compared to a 120hz monitor! It does get rid of that sluggish type of camera sway. This game doesn't have the option to fix bloom effects.

Interesting thought regarding refresh rate. I have a 120Hz UW, but I haven't bothered optimitizing the settings (getting 60-80 fps atm). I'll test it out later at 120+ fps, even if I have to drop the resolution to 2560x1080. Actually, I'd just like to play at a 16:9 resolution but the game refuses to let me switch without gross stretching - very unusual.
