I like the game very much, however it seems about every game I join. People just want to kill fast and die, next game. If you can promote something which holds players to their life and actually aim to wining the match. Not just shoot, kill, die and redo. Some games with randoms only last about 30 sec or less. Other last a bit longer but that one player who "plays" more just keeps moving and rushing to get kills until he find a squad of 3, dies and the other 2 die as they are chasing their dead team mate.

If your preference or objective is to win, go for it. Show dominance or else someone else is gonna do it or you'll have a team with no direction. Even if one or the two don't follow you, keep doing your thing! Or just follow but cautiously.
I don't go for wins. Been not aiming for wins long ago. Got enough wins already. I've won games with like 2 kills and so few dmg cause I was following ppl who wanted to loot & avoid any gunfire. It's boring and annoying. I'd rather fight battles and die quick rather than that. Main goal (think it's basically the same for most lvl 100's with quite a few wins) is just killing ppl thereby preventing them from winning. If I win in the process, swell, if not, well next game.

Sounds like BR is not for you.

Its boring and annoying to survive and win which is the whole point of the game???.... interesting tbh i think a ((""""SURVIVAL"""")) game is not for you lol. Lemme guess skulltown drop or bunker 24/7 i agree with poster ppl are complete lost causes when it comes to these games because they think its about kills lol.

Yes the discussion is two sided but I would rather put it like this:
One side that is so arrogant that they think they are in a position to dictate how other players must play this game.
And then we have the other side who think every player should be allowed their own preference how to play this game.
Just look at what @Fiendin4kush and @RichAC wrote
"Sorry its a survival game the developers didnt make it for you. They made it for people who want to survive and win"
"Sounds like BR is not for you."
These kind of comments make my brain hurt =)
But you are correct that the discussion creates straw man arguments , where one side think some players dont care about winning at all and intentionally get themselves killed after 30 seconds in Skulltown, and the other side think that some players only want to skulk around in the edge of the circle and avoid ALL fights just to win. The truth is most definitely somewhere between but for god sake, can we just let people play this game in the way that brings them most joy?
Me personally I ALWAYS drop hot and ALWAYS take every fight I can find, but I still go for the win. I have 8-900 games with my main and 40% top 3 and MINIMUM 18% wins (160 wins with full squad so obviously more). The difference is that I want to fight my way to the win, not sneak my way to it. Bottom line is that we should allow both types of players to play this game, both fighters and sneakers, and ffs just play with premades if you have a problem playing with "the other" type of player.

@Fiendin4kush, beautiful reply. Knew there would come no adequate reply forth seeing how your first message was. Thanks for trying though. To once again reply to you if I may. Of course they didn't make the game for me. They made the game, like all developers do for people to, and read carefully, play and enjoy the game.
@h5mf0vcnd32w , because ppl are narrowminded that's why. Like I said I don't go for kwins per se, but I'm very often in the oppertunity that I can go for wins. I'm not gonna throw a win just for kills. Winning is a secondary objective for me but I'd rather go for kills and have a good time than stressing about having to win if you get me. Most ppl play fortnite style. Camp their butts of till last 2 squads face off and then start running from their campfire. But by that time, their hands and butts are cold again from staying in luxury for too long and they still end up losing. Like you, I pick my fights, I don't go running towards guys up on the mountains of cascades for instance. That'd be the other form of stupidity...
@Babbediboopi, well put. I do think my side is better suited to actually play any game tho 😜
If the 'get themselves killed within 30 seconds and players skulk..' is a reference to me, then no, I know not most ppl are like that. But the majority of ppl I get bunched up with either choose my location (I always ping a location cause some jumpmasters who don't do it and randomly jump at the last second just boggles the mind) or a jumpmaster that has a place in mind. The first person either is a teamplayer or thinks I have a plan. This is the reliable person overall (at least in terms of commitment). The second is difficult to gauge before touching the ground as you don't know if he will be a teamplayer or just wants ppl to follow him/her.
But you're definitely right about letting ppl play the way that gives them the most joy. That's what entertainment medium gaming is for. Yet ppl digress from seeing it somehow. That's why I spoke for me personally instead of invoking my playstyle on others. It is however detrimental if you play a team game like this in a way that gets your team killed all in a pursuit to satisfy your (generalized 'your' not you specifically) needs.
The comments hurt your brain? They made me laugh and made me screenshot this thread and show my buddies who know me. They couldn't believe the ignorance and lol'd too. Hope your brain is fine by now 😜

Again, this is where you have to accept when you play with teammates who are not on your friends list that they will have their own views of how Apex is best played. If you have a particular style of play in mind playing with like minded teammates will only increase your ability to play the way you want. That means adding some friends. I make new friends all the time by adding teammates form previous matches and if I like I add them to my friends. And I'll boot them off again if it doesn't work out.
There's also a Find a Squad forum which I must admit I haven't used yet but it looks really popular.
