Make it only work on people who have it active.
If controller users don't like playing vs mouse & keyboard, they can at anytime move to a Xbox One and/or PS4. If PC players don't like it, we have to deal with it? This isn't right.
Aim Assist in PC games should be just like crossplay with the ability to turn it off in the servers we play. I for one want the same server with the device i play on at that givin time. I'm starting to see more and more mindless players in Apex, but once they aim, their better than some pros, like come.
At least there should be 2 servers "Public - Aim Assist Enabled" "Public - Aim Assist Disabled". You could also mix both groups of players as long as you made aim assist not activate on a mouse user, but i'm not sure how hard that is to code for.
I want to play Apex PC, I'm trying real hard to learn mouse & keybaord, but it's very hard when one you know how easy it is to use a controller, and two everyone just beams you with little to no though.
Please fix this issue.

Its become sadly obvious to tell every time someone is using aim assist, which happens frequently.
There's time's when you have a good firefight, you both miss a few shots, feels fair.
Then there's people who you can tell have no recoil, don't miss, hit plenty of headshots.
And its frustrating to know its not skill, but just a built-in aimbot.

Today one aim assist player(!) spraying with Havoc.
Aim Assist: 150 damage all on my body (1Hs) no missing bullets. And i died.
Me: 70+65
And I said, "Oh cheater, I gotta watch this dude."
But...
He is not cheater... He is Aim Assist player.

I have thousands of kills with a controller, i know how it works. I even made a comment back when Apex released that it was crazy easy to beam people. I think i also wanted a aim assist disable button outside of advanced so i could keep the classic curve, it should be in my history as my first post ever on here.
I used a Razer Wolverine Ultimate if you wanted to know my controller type (i still have it). This opinion is not coming from some player just asking how it works, i know what it does first hand. When i can pick up a controller right now and drop 3k damage something is wrong. An R301 or R99 is a lazer for me. I don't have to even think when i aim at all.
Turn aim assist off, forget it have fun, my aim is everywhere lol. i can still hit targets, but aim assist at it's fine levels helps with recoil most than anything i've noticed.
Also i've seen that video, but it's not correctly showing a feature of aim assist. It doesn't show that your aim will follow a target if you ever shoot once. I might make a small video on it. I do have videos between controller users i've found online already up, but nothing first hand showing the effects. LINK
After re-watching the video, the person says there is no aim assist through smoke, bull. i know it's still there because i notice it everytime i aim with a controller. I can aim through fat guy green gas and bangs smoke, i notice it directly. Sidenote - This person in the video a controller user?
But ya, i'm being honest in my opinion. I can and use both. Aim assist is getting out of control. I also don't see any issues with turning off aim assist towards mouse & keyboard users. Why would you gimp someone for trying to learn to aim for once?
I do expect EA / Respawn to give their ideas on aim assist soon though. Epic had theirs and nerfed aim assist to cap at 60hz, so that's a start. I'm not also trying to hurt any casuals from playing. I just don't like getting beamed from someone who doesn't know the first thing about aiming in an shooter. You shouldn't be able to just pull and it does the work for you towards a mouse user. Controller users with aim assist enabled can aim assist all day if they wish, but keep it off me when i'm using a mouse and keyboard please.

Everything i'm talking about is about PC only. I'll upload a video showing what a non biased video looks like for aim assist. It's crazy easy to aim through smoke, not sure what the person in that video was trying to pull, but yah it still works.
It might take sometime to upload as i would like to edit it with adobe PR first to cut the boring parts and add text to screen, but i'll get it uploaded sometime today. If i turn off aim assist, i noticed that the recoil is way harder than anything. To be honest i think the issue with aim assist is not the extra slow down, but the added help with recoil. It's almost like it's non existent while i have a controller.
With aim assist getting out of control, it's because there are more controller users than ever right now.
