A quick fun idea, how about adding titles to the game that you can put on your banner. I heard S2 brings separate ranked queue which I am heavily against but maybe it will be good and interesting. And devs can create simple small titles to show our achievements in the game after the season ends. Devs can also build cool mechanics around it and add more rewards built around titles. Here is a quick example for what I mean.
Players that will reach the Apex Predator rank will get an Apex Predator title to show off what they have achieved HOWEVER we know not everyone on the planet will get a cool title like that and showing GOLD RANK on their banner is not as cool...
So lets create cool titles with counters and small "battle passes" built around them for everyone, for example:
Predator Slayer Title: counts how many times a player in a standard queue had killed an apex predator ranked player.
Each number of kills will unlock a small reward up to lets say 25kills - 1 / 3 / 5 / 10 / 15 / 20 / 25 a voice line reward or rare skin maybe epic skin reward or for max level have the announcer say before match that Apex Predator or Predator Slayer has entered the Battleground. As this can create conflicts for what announcer should say we can simply have it saying this just for the champion squad. We can also have announcer say that Apex Predator has been slain and have in the kill feed or top of the screen displayed who have made the kill.
or
Squad Destroyer Title: will count how many times a player has eliminated whole squad by himself
There might be more titles added with small battle passes and a lot of mechanics built around them to create more incentive ways for players to play and grind for.
Titles will be displayed on Player banners before the game starts and also inside ingame banners

Thanks for the submission! Are you requesting a new line on the banner screen where you can add your "Title?" Or do you want these to be added as one of the 3 banners you can currently choose?

@EA_BlueberryCould you clarify what do you mean by 3 banners we can choose from? I would like this to be as a part of the players banner to showcase after the legend selection screen. Same as badges or counters but either on top of banner or bottom of it

Sorry for the confusion, I meant trackers or badges. Do you want it as a specific badge/tracker to choose or would rather have a new 4th row for "titles?"

@EA_BlueberryI would say a new row for titles... As I also mentioned devs can build mechanics around them to give players incentive to play the game, grinding them, maybe have the ingame announcer to interact with them too. Not just titles but banners in general have an insane variety of options to build mechanics and rewards around.
There is a huge potential to give something to the entire community whether we are talking about casual or hardcore players. Everyone gets something cool and everyone wins something cool if they put a little effort to it. Think about some titles as challenges that we got during the hunt event whether some of the challenges may be difficult and some not, at the end everyone can get a good looking title on the banner... And it can easily be put into season 3 battle pass as simple but extensive leveling system too as I mentioned in my post.
The game also has banners of the kill leader and champion squad displayed around the battleground during a match and this extremely cool mechanic is not used as much either. There is only 500xp bonus for killing the champion squad... How about on top of the xp bonus players will also grind towards an exclusive "Champion Slayer" title lets say, eliminate 50 champion squads in matches to obtain it and maybe extra reward at 100 champion squad eliminations when the announcer will say: "Champion Squad Slayer has entered the battleground" (if the player who owns the title is also a champion squad in the current match)

@EA_BlueberryGame is so well designed, with little tweaks to its banners, badges, trackers, ranks and titles it can have extensive goal system that will keep a lot of players engaged for longer time, giving them goals and exclusive even small rewards to show around to friends or other players... Its like leveling in mmorpg you dont want to stop playing, until you will reach your goals and thats what can be done here for players to keep them engaged for really long period of time
There can be done a lot with little effort to get community heavily engaged as the most of these mechanics are already in the game.
