Nope, they actually stopped responding to my emails and did nothing to help me. I ended up finally opening another account and starting over against what I really wanted to do, however I did stay true to the point that I have not nor will I ever spend another penny on this game and have not purchased any games related to the companies involved.

Why would I put all the work in to the game, why would I pay money in the game knowing it would get banned if I cheated. Why wouldn’t I just make another free account to cheat on so that I don’t lose anything when I get reported. It makes no sense for me to buy skins and battle passes on an account and to try and cheat on that account, I had over 303 hours on the account before this happened. I didn’t do it.
Yeah. All that work into the game. Lawl.
apply the same logic for the amount of work it would take to ‘hack’ your free to play account just to use it to cheat on. Sounds pretty dumb ya goof.
why even bother.
maybe just don’t use aimbots and wall hacks or cheat and you won’t get banned.
serously though if you are getting banned because you are that good. Maybe enter into a tourney or something. Make a name for yourself.
where is your twitch stream. Or just press Crtl Z and record the last 5 hours of footage to your hard drive. Send that video to the apex security team the next time they ban you for not cheating.
either that or just stop cheating you goof.
No one hacked your account. Lol.

Loking at this thread im realizing that this might be a bug or a problem on this season, and the only thing EA does is sayin " we think you got hacked so we banned you" man, if you already know that i was hacked why the hell you banned me an dont respond to my apeals, unlike you, ive never spended a penny on apex, was about to do it but now, f--- them, but all the rest of my games might be lost now, all the money they have from their dirty bussines model and they arent able to get a decent customer support systen, what a joke

You are ignorant. If you can't see by now that this problem clearly has to do with EA and Origin's lack of security then hopefully this happens to you so you're forced to understand.
Recently, there has been a wave of people wanting to sell Apex Legends and various other Origin-based game accounts. As a result, they have taken advantage of an exploit in EA and Origin's security to access accounts without a username or password. However, if you have two-factor authentication, you are saved from this disaster. Since the majority of players do not have this security feature, they are vulnerable to such hacks.
Upon being hacked, the hacker will utilize cheats on the account and spend all available currency to raise its value. By cheating, of course, they may raise statistics whether its related to lifetime performance or ranked performance. This will allow the account to be more desirable to the buyer and thus it will sell for more.
Those of us who have had the rude awakening, of trying to log in to our Origin accounts only to see that there is some other scum bag on, have had to go through absolute hell just to have a chance at getting it back. And the worst part is that EA and Origin will not accept responsibility for the issue. By now, they are certainly aware of this pattern and see a huge increase in the number of hacked/hijacked accounts. They are too lazy and too disgustingly apathetic to care for their player-base. All they have cared for is our money. When they start losing money on their games, they may finally start to ask why and thus perhaps see the value in resolving such issues for its community such as TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
EA will never receive another penny from me. Nor do they deserve another penny from you until they start to fix these issues. Why? Because where is the safety for your investment of time, money, and effort? There is none. This could happen to anyone else the same as it happened to us.

How the hell could "your friend" possibly know that the person playing on your account wasnt you and that he was using wall hacks? There is no way you can spectate friends.. Or are you suggesting that "your friend" randomly stumbled upon this player on your account as an enemy in a random match, got killed by him and started to spectate him? Darn, what are the odds? Or did "your friend" send him a message on Origin, believing it was you online and he answered "I am a hacker using your friends account to cheat" ??
Are you sure this is whats happened? Are you sure that this "hacker" wasnt in fact you who hacked and now pretends you are an innocent little victim? HAHAH

Firstly, I like your username. It's funny.
Now, secondly, you are too cynical. Do you not read the forums enough to know that there is an exploit that allows a person to access an account without a username or password? If not, then read across the forums and see just how many players report this issue. You and I both know that not every player that reports this issue is a hacker.
In that case, you must be wondering, why would EA still ban these players? Isn't EA a fair company? Dont' they want to protect their precious community and make more money? Wrong, the ToS team could care less about any one of us. To them, a victim is the same as a culprit. It's disgusting.
In my case, I have clear evidence (e.g. EA provides IPs of where the accounts and when they were accessed, a Twitch VOD that shows the entire experience of me recovering the account on-the-spot, and more) to prove my innocence. However, I was punished nonetheless!
The ToS team has sufficient evidence to be able to tell that the person is innocent, however, there is a portion in the EA Games EULA agreement (http://tos.ea.com/legalapp/WEBTERMS/US/en/PC/) that reads as follows:
"You are responsible for the activity on your EA Account. Your EA Account may be suspended or terminated if someone else uses it to engage in activity that violates this Agreement."
Therefore, even if you are innocent, because this activity occurred on your account, you are responsible and will be punished as though you were a hacker. Why is this? Because they fail to see the difference. They fail to tell a victim from an offender. They fail to have basic human understanding. It is primitive, moronic, and utterly detrimental to all their games.
Guess what? This issue could happen to anyone. All of you are unsafe from this exploit - if you don't have two-factor authentication.
So, for those of you cowards beating on people that are innocent, be quiet because when this is you, you will expect empathy and find a cold shoulder, instead.

I am not questioning that there is a possibility that people get their accounts hacked and therefore are innocent of cheating; I am just poking holes in the guys story and call it BS (not the OP but the guy I replied).
He claims that he was lying in his bed, sleeping like the little lamb, totally unaware and innocent when suddenly his "friend" calls him, saying someone else is playing on his account, cheating. How did the "friend" know it was a hacker on his account? Then he claims that he logged on to his account and could confirm that the hacker was using wall hacks on his account... How could he see this? And then he also added things to his story, things that he DIDNT mentioned the first time he told this story (just google his username and you will find the post) claiming his friend actually sent him video proof from a stream where this hacker used his account to actually kill him (the friend) in a match.
Bottom line is that Respawn must set the praxis how to deal with these situations, and if they start freeing everyone who claims someone else used their accounts to cheat, then all cheaters will go free. Just blame it on the brother or the dog... Also, we dont even know what technical proof Respawn has before they ban. Everyone keeps saying they are innocent but maybe the anticheat doesnt ban unless they have technical proof to back up the ban, like matching Hardware ID/IP etc.

Yeah, I think I see your point much more clearly now. Thank you for explaining it.
I definitely agree that a praxis must be set. It just seemed like you were concluding something without sufficient evidence and I saw it as contributing to the problem. I don't see it that way anymore though.
