If you quit a match of your own volition...you forfeit all experience of that match.
At the moment, it doesn't matter if you stay or quit, you still get the same amount of experience. Tackle this and the quitting situation will diminish.

People leave because there is no penalty in place. They still get the experience they would got from a squad elimination of they quit. There is literally no incentive to stay.

No.. People leave cause thats how anyone with 2k+ kills plays mostly. They drop in get a kill or 2 if any, die and leave. Repeat. Then go around acting like there amazing players with tons of kills. But play like crap.
There is a guy on ps4 running around with 13k+ kills. Yea.. You totally got those legitimately. Your not fooling anyone bud.

Here's a bright idea, instead of punishing leavers who mostly leave for legitimate reasons, how about we reward those who stay instead? Not sure what level you are but I'm guessing relatively low if you think xp means anything after a certain point but it doesn't, as many have said already xp is meaningless after you hit lv100 and complete the battlepass, and the in-game currency is about as useless as monopoly money, you can have thousands but there's nothing to do with it outside buying new characters
I'm lvl 100 myself. I know experience points means nothing in a game where progression isn't a thing. The mentality of low level players, however, is the get to level 100 regardless of it.

If xp doesn't effect gameplay, one way or the other, quitting a match will never have consequences.
