I've been apart of & joined more 3rd parties in this games 2 week life cycle than every other BR combined.
Just thought I'd throw this out there.

Yea I agree this is a problem. To that other persons question: 3rd partying is when you are fighting or just finished a fight and another squad is on top of you giving you no chance to heal and even the odds. I think it would be a good idea to try a patch for a while where once you wipe a squad your squad is awarded 50 HP each. This would apply to base health or shield health and downed players would still need to be revived, but could be brought up with 75% health instead of 25% or whatever it is now. I believe this would give teams a slightly better chance to fight the next squad. I don't think it would change any balancing issues because the team would be back at full health anyway given another 30 seconds.
I enjoy this game, but when I 3rd party (which is essential to winning now) I feel its pretty lame when only 1 guy is left with a 1 shot and now I have 2 full teams loot bins without doing any work.

I think 3rd Partying is not so bad. Well once you learn how to counter it that is.
Simply, first thing you should always note is, if you hear a fight going on, and you
want to push that fight and 3rd Party them, be aware of your surroundings on your push..
By this is mean, listen for other fights that may be somewhat close where that team that wins
that fight, will most likely come to the fight you're about to 3rd Party yourself.
So an example is, in one game I was playing with some friends..
We were going to push two teams fighting, especially because their was a down on each side.
So both teams were at a disadvantage. But we had knowledge of a team possibly behind our positioning.
So we decided not to push the two teams fighting, back tracked, came across the team heading over to the fight themselves,
wiped that squad, quickly looted and 3rd Partied that other fight right as it ended.
To someone who is the typical gamer, they don't take all that into their thought process before just holding down W and rushing into a 3rd Party.
Another tip for when you notice you are being 3rd Partied, the best thing to do is back out of the position and let the other teams take the attention to
each other, while you heal, and then re-enter the fight as the new 3rd Party. Best classes to have on your squad to make this simple are classes such as
Wraith (Portal), Pathfinder (ZipLine), Bangalore (Smokes & ALT), even Gibraltar's ALT can be enough to get you out of there.

3rd partying is a thing but not a problem. Its a part a of the game which you must be prepared for, and at certain places even count on, like Skulltown where many on nearby looting areas like Thunderdome with the intention to quickly loot and push.
Ive killed many full squads that spend too much time looting after they won a fight. This is a quick game. You fight, loot and change position. One of my IRL friends that I play with is hopeless when it comes to this. Every time he loots a lootbox, he stand there for literally minutes and goes like "hmm should I take the Longbow or the Triple take? Or maybe I should go with AR+SMG? Hrmm I have 8 shield cells, I should drop 2 and use that slot for an Arc star instead. Hrm now what attachments do I need?" =)
Also, one vital part of the game is the team synchronization, which I understand must be virtually impossible when playing with randoms (so dont). If you get attacked by a 3rd party, you need to communicate this to your team and act accordingly, like either hard push ONE of the teams or retreat.

Yep, I agree with you.
You're asking for the headless chickens to think? No way is that going to happen. They will run head long into gunfire, then complain about another team engaging late and 3rd partying.
That's tactics. You need to out think your opponents.

The worst is when you get 3rd partied - 3rd partied.
If you hear gunshots, remember, you're not the only one that's curious. Death boxes can be used as bait.
Be alert!

@EA_Blueberry or the supply drop. When I see unchecked supply drop just sitting in the middle of an open valley I know something's fishy.
@D3loFF We ALWAYS use the late drops as bait with our Arc Stars ready to be tossed their way.
