I can't log in

Hi! I've installed Spore to play again and enjuy like when I'm younger and I can't Log in, so, are the servers closed? Or is it a fail of my game? My Spore game is a CD

i have the same problem ....i  bought it again after many years and my EA account wont log in like it used to ..while i am logged in here correctly
