Help! Changing other tribes/creatures

Is it at all possible to change the other creatures I play against, I have download a bunch of Pokemon I'm keen to hunt down and battle but I just have no idea how to change what I can encounter. 

Please help. I would appreciate it heaps. Cheers

You can change your spore creatures at anytime, even those you are currently playing.

I don’t think there is a way to manually choose what creatures you encounter in any stage, I think it’s randomly selected.
