why do i need an origin account to install and play a game i bought on epic? i need to have a launcher in a store to get to a launcher in a store to get a game? is this a joke? if you need origin bs anyway why sell it on epic at all? making it look like i can finally get an EA game without origin * and then needing it anyway is extremely disappointing.

please delete this whole origin crap.

Just a heads up, this is becoming more common as time goes on. I've been avoiding it by only publishing games directly from the publisher. For instance, if one were to buy an Ubisoft game on steam, they still have to install uPlay.

In this case, you purchased Fallen Order, which is an EA title, which requires an Origin account.

Despite being unpopular with users, I do not see this "feature" going away any time soon, it's great for "engagement metrics" on platform.
