what is going on every time after ranked reset?

I am a plat player, i know I am, I accept it, I achieve it always and move on with my life. I only que solo, most of my friends like MW :D 

This time, I wanted to achieve a glowing badge, two times in a row. 

For some reason, I feel that starting from gold, I am placed against players far beyond my skill, like waaaay far. I noticed it's always the case after reset when i really struggle. 

Could be there a reason for this?

@TrancyGoose most people are not back on their normal rank, right now in plat every lobby is full with dia masters and preds, will stay like this for a little longer

The whole rank split thing is just annoying

@matzesingt The most annoying part about it is that for solo Q warriors it means you get to carry... not as skilled players... until you make it back to your respective rank

@matzesingt Dunno about carrying, but as of right now, by the time i get to pick up a weapon, 2 of them are dead usually! 

Another thing, loot! For the love of god, how do i face someone who has a devotion, with a mozambique at the beginning of the match!!!!!! Loot is sooooo badly spread in my opinion.

@TrancyGoose It's the map, my guy. WE has better loot IMO
