unable to repair game

EA Play does not have an option to "repair game" when it is needed. Is it hidden somewhere that is not obvious? I really don't feel like I need to re-download the game again due to having a data cap by my wonderful ISP.

Click on the game, click Manage and then Repair, thanks.

For me, (issues with garden warfare 2) it says "Manage on Steam" but when I try to repair the files, there is no option to do so in the steam "manage" option
