[ps4]Dropping ammo

Can we get a way to drop ammo, like we can drop shield canisters or health syringes an [X] amount at a time ?

I have ran in to this a few times already that me or a teammate are running light ammo or heavy ammo and we can drop it by pressing square or drop all by hitting x on the ps4 controller which  if I carry more then 40 rounds it drops the whole pack when pressing square.

I believe if you press X on the ammo it will drop in increments of 20 rounds.
