Seriously, Mastiff is far from OP. By the way, Peacekeeper was fine too.
If you're face is being melted at point blank range, there might be no skill involved...no skill on the person without the mastiff. You allowing yourself to be so close and getting killed was your bad move, and their good move. It had nothing to do with the Mastiff.
I'm not even a fan of shotguns anymore, but if I carried one, I'd still rather have an EVA with double tap, especially in the endgame. Mastiff is fine though. If it's there and I have no better weapon, its getting picked up.
If you want to be complaining about something melting your face, you're probably better off complaining about the new Havoc. But, that gun has been weak so long I'm not surprised they mega buffed it.
